Hey guys :) I'm starting my own design company (like in the real world) and I need a catchy name for it.

I can make all sorts of things:

letterheads, business cards, postcards, flyers, posters, shirts, invitations... anything really.

I want a fun name for it :)

It will just be my own little personal business to help me make some money while at school - so no employees or anything.

I thought of names such as:

Studio Graphics Jay's Design Studio Studio 22 (because I'm 22)

But all seem boring!

That's a tough one. I like Studio 22 but I can see it getting old. Hm. Well, you're going to design everything so maybe that should be part of it. Do you have any favorite creatures or colours? sometimes they can work. I did wonder about: Everything Under the Rainbow But that might be more of a slogan than a name.

I want something kooky and different.

Just went to a name generator and found "Red Sheep"

I like "Red Sheep Graphics" - with a slogan like "White sheep are normal, Black sheep are odd, but Red Sheep Stand out! Just like your designs should."

But I'm still playing with it. I just want it to be something perfect since I'll be stuck with it

Red sheep sounds fun. You could have a mascot of a sheep with a can of paint stuck on its back. I can see how much fun you can have with that kind of thing.

If i were to pick a number for studio something... i wonder what number i should pick and why... i feel like my name needs a reason

Most names should, especially as it's your company. Numbers are tricky things. Linking it to your age can be a good idea but will it still have the same meaning a few years down the line? Do you have any numbers that are significant to you? Dates of important events? Number of friends? Or found in favorite novels and stories?

when i think 22, i think both my age and taylor swifts song 22 (a song about breaking free and having fun) when i think 13 - i think paranormal so no. when I think 71 i think of the bar i hit up a lot... it's got 71 in the name though. i see 81 or 83 on shirts a lot and have no idea why numbers are crazy -_-

Numbers mean different things to different people. Its picking out what's important to you in a name. Something fun but something that means something to you. That's always the tricky part. I'll think on it and let you know if I come up with anything.
