Can you do any type of embroidery/designs on your hats/scarves?

I'm looking for something like this of your examples but with a Hoto rabbit on the side.

If you can do this, how much would it cost. And would you be willing to take half Csc or sp and half USD? Let me know, and thanks for your time.

Hello!

I've never tried to do embroidery on scarves before. Not entirely sure how well it would work, but I could see what I could do. I'm not sure I entirely understand - do you mean you'd want a hat/scarf with embroidery or was that just a side question? I could try embroidery on a hat but it's very unlikely that something big will actually stay on any type of hat I make, and I'm not entirely sure wool will stick to acrylic material, with or without glue... I know it sticks to wool yarn, which I have some of, but the color you were looking at is definitely acrylic...hmm...I can do some research about that at some point soon.

How much do I charge? Well, my question for you is - how much would you be willing to pay for a hat like that? Somewhere under 15 and over 10 should do it for the hat? Unless that's too much, we can sMail and haggle a bit (don't want to spam up this board like an auction or something). If you want something felted on it, maybe an extra 50 cents should do it, if I can manage to felt something on acrylic yarn (no promises there)? What I can definitely try to do is make a felted rabbit for maybe somewhere between $23-$26. If that's too much, please feel free to let me know. Normally, felted objects go for $40+, not counting shipping (since wool is VERY pricey), but I don't want to be on my high horse and say that my work is totally worth THAT much when it isn't, as I'm new at it. XP If you're in the US, then I could probably ship pretty cheaply, too...

Unfortunately I don't take half CSC/sP as payment, but you can basically make any USD offer you want (of course, it should at least cover cost of materials + money for a portion of my time). I can accept a teeny bit of to cover a small, insignificant portion of the payment to give you a break if you need it, but definitely not half. :C I'm sorry.

I apologize for the delay in response, by the way. :C I've been a bit absorbed in both work and college almost every day.

Hmm, I'm not really finding any examples of what I want, but 10$ is a bit too steep for me as I also have a few animals which I'm current supporting. Best of luck selling your lovely craft. You really are quite good.

Yeah, to be honest I'm not entirely sure what is totally reasonable to charge with this type of thing. I appreciate the interest and the feedback. It means a lot. <3 Since I'm not getting any business, I might end up charging less than that, more like maybe $7 or $8 or something for hats, sorta enough to break even (with time considerations and all that), just because I love to craft. x3
