So last year saw the release of two of the most anticipated Superhero films - Avengers Assemble and Dark Knight Rises - as well as the re-boot of the Spiderman franchise - The Amazing Spiderman.

This year there is a whole load of superfilms coming out. True, some are sequels which have a lot to live up too but hopefully they shouldn't disappoint.

So what films are you looking forward too? Do you think that they will live up to the hype? Heard any rumers about one?

Damn, that is a healthy amount of hero movies! I'm excited for everything except the superman one. I have yet to enjoy any of the reboots in that franchise :/

The Lone Ranger and RED 2 also come out this year but I didn't know if they were hero-y enough for the first post...

I have mixed feelings about the Superman one. I've never really gotten into any of them and I have a horrible feeling that this one has been over hyped. They keep plastering Christopher Nolan's name all over it so I think a lot of people are going to feel let down by him if it's a huge bust.

i am SOOOO excited for iron man 3 and the 2nd thor movie!! especially iron man bc he's my favorite super hero. c:

i'm also really excited for the winter soldier! i don't think that one comes out until late 2014 tho. boo.

I've never been a huge Superman fan, but I am super excited for Iron Man 3, and for The Wolverine.

I can only hope The Wolverine makes up for that Origins did.

He made batman even more awesome, but superman is such a prince charming white knight kind of guy that I can't see how they could.make him exciting and dynamic.

Red 2 is definitely exciting haha. I'm undecided about the lone ranger. I was never really into it but it could end up being really awesome so I'll have to see the previews and decide haha.

Thank goodness! I thought I was the only one who was excited for all of the releases this year.

The Avenger's was such a good movie last year. It was by far my favorite. I must have went like...6+ times to see it in the theaters.

So when Iron Man and Thor come out this year, I am gonna be so excited.

I cant wait for all of those! Though Man of Steel doesnt look that great to be honest :/ His suit looks like its made of kevlar or something, which he doesnt need since he is bullet proof and all :/ That and the fact that i dont think he has the red pants, which totally ruins his image lol

i'm only familiar with batman and green lantern when it comes to DC comics. /oops

I think his only weakness is kryptonite which makes him go all weak and stuff :/ I still need to watch the Green Lantern movie, though i heard it was rubbish so i didnt go see it, so i know nothing about the Green Lantern lol

and yeah, the green lantern movie was pretty bad lol.
