Alright. We are starting anew , the ship JUST blew up. We aren't doing a time jump at all. We're starting with the aftermath of the explosion. We're all in a small house in the Arctic that was empty for our taking. Injuries are allowed, but remember, you have to heal eventually unless you lost a limb.

Also, we're changing our focus. With this attack, Alaeza has decided that even though she loves being the Captain of a ship, she doesn't want to be a pirate. She brings to the thoughts of the crew the idea of becoming mercenaries and bounty hunters. The home "base" will be the Manor house in Meneb but there will be several adventures that the remaining crew and any new crew members that wish to join in. The first adventure will start after I know who all is going to be here, check in if you can't post right away. The first adventure will be the crew finding a new ship, based off a tale they are told :) It will be fun.

Rules:

1. No God moding. The only way I want to see you making actions for someone else is if they are not on at all to do their own and it's of dire importance OR if you have their permissions, even in dire circumstances, try to get permission.
2. 5 sentences or more per post. If you can't get 5 sentences that's fine, I know you'll have other posts to make up for the loss. Just please, no one liners.
3. Be considerate of other players. If you have an idea, make sure to run it by at least one person before you start it. Would prefer ideas to be discussed here.
4. Get to know your fellow ers, have fun. Socialize, role play, let loose!

As for ideas, i was thinking Lupus could be injured, because he would be easier to carry than Beacon xD; not sure how severely, but we can work something out right ?

Beacon and Lupus would still be on the run from Clavins Military, so that could be a plot point later if you want. Have more ideas, but its currently wayy past bedtime and ive not been well D:

Bring in any of your characters, they are all good. :) And right now, mainly what we're gonna be looking for is people that are will to be mercenaries. That's the direction we're taking. Still need mechanics and stuff because we're gonna have vehicles to fix up and all that when we get back to the manor. We basically will also need someone to rescue them from the Arctic unless they find the new ship quickly.

So you went with the merc idea yesh? waves hands frantically Can Jace be the one to pick up odd jobs? I can come up with some very random stuff l3. snrk an adventure form of finding Jaxom's kitteh! l3 Traveling down to Merana's lair, even going out as santa's helpers. Anything really. l3

Heck, if we pull together, we might be able to get real treasures to give out afterwards l3

It doesn't have to be. But, missions come with rewards, so, I thought it would be fun.
Now, before anything else is said, I want to clear up what a mercenary is. A Mercenary is anyone who will work for a cause or reward. Not all work is hunting down people and fighting. One mission could be someone asking for an assistant for whatever craft they are working on as their current assistant is gone for a month. Whatever. It is a very big variety. You could be asked to singly or as a group to go retrieve a treasure because the hiring person is a wuss, but they said nothing about not claiming the other treasures for yourself.

That being said. I. Love. Opinions! If you want Jace to bring back a specific mission, leave a comment, shoot me a PM, hail me on IM, however you please. I aim to please :3 Some I will drop here and take a vote on. If no one like, it doesn't get mentioned on the thread, simple as that.

, if it's alright with you guys, I would like The Merle/Silvia to be pretty notorious. Kinda Robin Hood-esque, if that's good with you all? I mean, not totally "omfg it's YOOOU" famous, but I'd like her name to be well-known, as someone who kinda, robs from the rich and gives to the poor. I really hope that this isn't too rude of me ^^; I'll leave it up to the individual character as to how much (if anything) they know about her, and if anyone wants to know more about her that I haven't put in her description, let me know and I'll share ^-^ The only thing I'd like to say is that no-one (except her cousin Lorelai) knows that The Merle is actually Countess Silvia Ariadne of Winterbourne. Hope this is all okay with everyone! <3

That said, if anyone wants past history with her (or with Lore, for that matter) please let me know, I love to be interactive 'n' stuff! <3

We're all basically becoming mercs. So we're all going to basically become robin hood-esque/do whatever peoples. :) So perhaps the merle can help train people? :) Jace is going to be the one acquiring our jobs for us. I'm happy with the direction we're gonna go. Lorelai will be handy too with her sewing skills:D

That would be awesome <3 The Merle would enjoy taking people under her wing and giving them tuition, helping find their best asset etc. Lore's a bit more nervous, but she'll be tagging along because she's loyal. And I imagine her being able to make various outfits pretty sharpish would help a lot too ;)

: Jace/Kate aren't mercs by nature. They used to work in trades before the Lamp really x3; Jace wouldn't mind a little adventure, so, neither of my two characters are going to disagree with being mercs for hire. Now, should something come up like being hire to kill out of revenge, that would be a moral conflict and he'd back out of it. Actually, killing isn't something he likes to do at all really. Roughing up, he can definitely do, finish them off, not likely x3;

I'd like Lupus and Beacon to be wanted because of their desertion xD; Beacon would have the mental capability to cope, Lupus will need support from more than just Beacon. Hes a real sweetie xD; Never meant any harm, but he would follow Beacon to the ends of the earth rather than fall back to the military.

The Cadogres are chars in their own right, but im concentrating on Lupus and Beacon. Haik and Cavea are limited in the thought process and you guys might notice shifts in their speach patterns as i settle on their characters a bit more.

Beacon can be a Merc too, Lupus would follow him anywhere though and Lupus was 'raised' in the military to be recon. Beacon is more of a hand to hand combatant. Any ideas? Neither of my two are decent shots, so Snipers is out of the question def and you dont want to give Lupus a gun. Its that bad.

Mercs don't necessarily kill people. It's a common misconception. Also, if they don't feel like they'd be good for said job, they can stay at the base. Ya know?

Also, was on wimp.com and saw something that I'd love for our characters to have. Here's the video so yall can know what it is. It's called a DTV shredder Clickie clickie It'd help them for all the different terrains, especially if it's only one person going out or something.

xD well the way i play Cavea and Lupus is split between Recon and intell. Maybe they use Cavea as a radio-point? it would be a way to keep everyone in contact, and Except for exceptional circumstances, Cavea would be able to pick up even faint radio signals, bolster and clean them up and relay them. Hes also filled with maps and usefull information only Lupus can access from a pannel in Caveas back xD

Its a suggestion : 3 although i think he could stand in for a ship communicator until they get a new ship.

I think my two would be best for a 'Cyber-merc' sorta thing, mm? Both are competent hackers, Beacon much more than Lupus through experiance and 'education'.

Suggestions~ Beacon is short sighted enough to be a hinderance than a help on a battlefield and his movements are not as good as they used to be and Lupus was not trained for combat x D;

The Merle'd be good for your covert ops type stuff; she can blend in well with her heritage, pretending to be someone else. She'll kill if she has to, but prefers to find other ways out first.
