Let me see if I can explain this idea properly.

Basically it comes down to this: I am currently the member of a private, fairly closed cult that has a very specific use: the ability to share items/fund large purchases jointly for our tiny cult use. It has been awesome and I am happy with the functions and abilities that it has allowed.

The problem? Because the cult is so small and limited (out of necessity because of its function), I can't invite all the lovely friends and acquaintances I've made here on subeta into it. While we could obviously just hang out in general chatter, I'd really love to be able to join the cult that they are all going to be a part of to participate in the special events and functions of those that share my goals and interests on subeta.

My suggestion is that we be allowed to join more than one cult for reasons similar to this.

I'm not saying someone should be able to join 10 or 20 or whatever number of cults. I'd like it to stay limited, preferably not allowing more than membership in two cults at a time.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to participate in a cult that is very specific while not loosing the ability to connect with friends who are in another!

I'm pretty sure this is already suppose to be happening when the cults are finally revamped (ha.. ha... )

Keith has already said that we'll be able to join more than one cult when the cult revamp (eventually) gets done I believe.

oh, oh! Yay! I did some searching and couldn't come up with anything (I'm still trying to figure out how to control the new forum search! LOL) but this makes me happy. Now to just be patient for the revamps! crosses fingers and hopes this is sooner than later

I'm all for this idea. I too have been on other games that allowed their players to be in more than one group. I think 2 sounds like a good mix. Any more and it would be really stretching a person thin.

As for any possible cult revamp, I'll wait until I see that actually happen. We all know how long things take around here XD Don't get me wrong, I love the site, but there are a ton of things just waiting to be fixed that haven't been yet. We'll see how it goes =X
