Sorry to bother you all orz, I didn't know who else to ask, but I'm finding that lately I'm getting charged for receiving money on Paypal. I also noticed they changed their new page. Is there some change in the way Paypal do things now? or some charge I didn't know about? I wouldn't mind, but the charge itself is pretty noticeable ;n;. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help. I've got a long day of classes so I might not answer for a while.

unfortunately that's called merchants fees. ; v ; it's only fee-free when you're paying WITH paypal, not receiving money via paypal.

I always thought that when sending money over paypal, if you sent if as a 'gift', the sender would pay the fee, and not the reciever? I'm not 100% sure whether that's changed because of the new layout or w/e, but maybe if you ask people who are paying you on paypal to send it as a gift, you might not be incurring those charges anymore? I mean, I'm not completely sure, so I could be wrong.
