Has anyone gotten any invites after completing the most recent steps to the plot? I haven't seen one and I'd like to know if I need to keep visiting the ballroom to stock up for stashing in my holiday horde or if that's over and done with.

According to the plot thread in the Masq forum, once you've opened your invites, you don't get anymore. :( I know I haven't gotten any more since completing the Coda Caves area.

No problem, I stocked up on quite a few but moved on so I didn't get behind on the plot

I've opened lots of invites, because I didn't know you needed to refresh, and opening invites is not the trigger that prevents you from getting more.

Once you talk to Thorpe, and get him to crack he tells you to keep quiet. Since we are keeping quiet (no longer have any rumors to share, the NPC Gossips aren't interested inviting someone as plebian as us to the dance. Or, Thorpe realizes where the leaks are coming from and twists their arms. So that is why no more invites, IMO, and after I got Thorpe to crack was when the invites actually stopped coming to me.

Coda Caves doesn't appear to be relevant.

ok... thanks for the explanation, but my question was really just if you could still get invites if you have completed all of the steps, because I want to hoard them XD That's cool that there's a reason for it though, good to know!
