I've got the story & treasure chest planned, but I just can't decide on a species & colour for Dr Watson, so I was wondering if anyone here has any ideas? :D

He's based on John Watson from the BBC series Sherlock in particular, he's loyal, with nerves of steel, and not somebody you'd want to get on the wrong side of....

So Subeta.... any thoughts? :D

My pet Synthetics I modeled a little bit off of Sherlock xD I see Watson as something regal looking. Some pets that come to mind are:

Reborn or Bloodred legeica Graveyard endeavor has the don't mess with me look. Hydrus Jollin - Really like the sleek lines and he looks ready for business.

I'm not normally a fan of Legeica, but that bloodred one definitely has that kind of "mess with me and regret it" look about it :) That Graveyard Endeavour does look pretty neat - slightly beaten up, but looks like it could hold its own in a fight :D :o I'd not noticed the Hydrus Jollin before - that also looks like it could work - argh, decisions decisions!

Haha. I know what you mean. I always research after I find a name until I see if their is a color/species combo that will fit it. Personally if I had to choose it would probably be the Hydrus Jollin. But you shouldn't rush, make sure it what's you want. Repainting can get expensive!

yeah, I zapped him a few times, then decided I ought to actually figure out what I want him to be, before either zapping again, or morphing (I don't want to zap over something that would've been perfect!)

I use Tebo to zap. He is Syn's assistant xD And about as 'flaming' as you can get. I need to work on his story but I had to do Syn first. Waiting on his art so I can get his profile done. I like Watson's page so far. I will probably be stalking him and you to see what you decide lol -not creepy at all-

I can't work out quite what layout to use for Watson's page - I want the treasure to be prominent (eventually it'll be 16 items for each episode) but the rest of the page is a big question mark at the moment ;)

Most of my profiles tend to look similar in layout, so I might try to make his one look completely different.... somehow

I did end up paying for a few profiles - there were some I just couldn't get creative enough for (and each time I tried making the profile, it looked terrible) ;)

It's quite a neat idea to have a pet based on a character, that isn't actually named after it - then you can be as creative with the story as you like, without feeling that you're straying too far from the original ;) :D

Whoa, that's a lot of suggestions ! I did comment you earlier, so I haven't clicked the spoilers just yet ;) I hadn't thought of a Wyllop - that could work quite well :D ....and that Torrey - there was a smiley face on the wall in 221B Baker Street, wasn't there?

I like the jollin and the glacier tiger-thingy but I'm not sure of any pets myself having only seeing 1 episode.

I think I'll most likely end up going with the Hydrus Jollin - that has the kind of agile look you'd expect of a soldier and the look just reminded me of the look Watson gave Sherlock when he was asked to punch him in the face (watched that episode last night) :D
