I know etsy shops are okay to advertise in a billboard, but what about an ebay shop? Or a shop on another site?

I would file a ticket to make sure that you get the correct response. I'm pretty sure referral links are against the rules like you said but I am not sure on the shops.

i've seen people link their ebay and other off-site stores selling real life items before! and people have also linked to their DA... where they were taking commissions for art for money, not sp. :P

I'm also pretty sure referral banners would be against the rules. X) It's definitely against the rules to refer via talking in the forums.

Just thought I'd ask because there are a lot of 3rd party advertisements with stuff like that. So why wouldn't subeta want to profit off of billboards with referrals in them? Haha. (As long as they're not to any malicious site or whatever.) Wishful thinking on my part! :P

My ticket had to be forwarded to the person who specifically deals with billboards, so I'm still waiting for a reply. I will definitely edit when I get an official response! ^_^
