Friday was payday for a lot of people...I think that was reflected Saturday when the support goal was reached pretty early on in the day. Because of how early in the day it was met it can be assumed that we might have doubled our daily goal; I think that having a weekly goal maybe announced in the news once a week might be more accurate in knowing how the site is doing. I mean, keep the daily goal, but also have more of an average figure out there too. Sometimes it is hard to look at the daily goal being met at 50% or 75% a day, but, I think, it is those times right around payday that ensure that we are actually, in fact, meeting our goals. Maybe having a monthly goal in place and if it is met--give everyone that bought csc that month some sort of gift or incentive for meeting that goal.

There was also an offer on CSC purchases over the weekend. Bonus CSC and an item. I'm sure that had a lot to do with the large amount of CSC being purchased.

I'd like to see a monthly goal metre. Seems it would be a better gauge of how well it's going. Daily has hit 100% early the last few days, and we can't tell how far over it went. I'd feel more reassured seeing a monthly goal filling up.

Keith said he didn't do a monthly bar because it would be disappointing to be halfway through a month and still be in the red on the bar. But I don't think it would be like that. I think there would be a boost at the beginning of the month because of the monthly collection and it would get filled up more and more by each week's end.

Yeah it would be disappointing to be halfway through a month and not even halfway through the bar. But there's still half a month of hope left. What would be worse, the day being almost over and the daily bar hasn't even gone halfway yet, or still having some weeks left to fill it up, if it were monthly?

What happens at the black friday sale? The daily bar would get enough to be filled a few times over, but does it carry over to the next day? Where does the "extras" go?
