Below is the vampire character I typically use when I join a vampire thread on any roleplay forum. Please let me know what you think.
Name: Talena Elwes Alias(es): Tal, Tally Gender: Female Physical Age: 21 Chronological Age: 115 Birthdate: April 3rd, 1898 Birthplace: Boston, Mass. Sire: Alister Elwes Race: Vampire Faction: Neutral Coven: None
Talena is a tall lady, roughly 5'11". Her body is very waif-like and lacking in the typical feminine curves. Her waist is unnaturally small from the years of corseting retaining the shape after Master Elwes turned her. Talena's hair falls in effortless, deep auburn waves to her elbows and frame her angular face. Round eyes of a seemingly iridescent blue peer from under thick lashes, and sit on either side of her pert nose. Her mouth is thin, the shape resembling that of a cat's. Her features collectively appear child-like and innocent. When it comes to attire, she tries to look as contemporary as possible to keep from attracting attention to her vampirism.
Talena's very social, mingling into the nightclubs looking for a boy drunk enough to willingly offer her dinner. Her personality would seem like that of a well-spoken college party girl. She has no use for human authority figures and typically stays out of their way. The modern day club scene is perfect for Talena, who refuses to get attached to another. She socializes with other vampires, but very seldom finds companionship in them.
The year was 1919. Talena was 21 and working in a general store. Orphaned as a child, she spent most of her life in the care of Alister Elwes and Julianne Kennedy. Mrs. Kennedy, an older widowed woman, took care of the kids; Master Elwes simply funded the orphanage. At 18, she was sent out with a job and a small amount of money for dinner that night. She lived above the general store she worked in. She worked those few years until she decided to return to the orphanage for a visit. She was greeted by Master Elwes, who was heavily cloaked from the sun. They sat in his study and talked for hours for the first time in Talena's life. That was when Master Elwes explained his plight to her - he was a very lonely man...a very lonely vampire. Talena was, at first, in shock and disbelief. The last thing Talena would say as a living woman was, "So, where does that leave me?" She awoke much later on to find Master Elwes turned her as a gift. She could live her life in the dark any way she pleased. He would fund her every endeavor and put up with her antics. Master Elwes created the perfect daughter in his eyes. She wanted to be angry, but he had always been the father she couldn't see. Now, he was in full view and gave her a gift of eternal and eternal use of his limitless cash flow. Nothing could go wrong...could it?
