I don't know if it is possible, or, if it would be difficult, but, I would like to suggest that when a Costume Trunk is purchased that the image of the trunk could somehow be saved. I have always wanted to have a gallery with the image of the Costume Trunks that I have purchased. It just seems like a shame to not be able to display the trunks that you have purchased without buying duplicates of the trunk itself.

Hmmm maybe when you open them, they act like the ISS and turn into an empty and opened up version of that trunk.

that would be nice, it would save buying an extra trunk just so you can have the original image for aTC

And come to think of it.. If, in real life, I bought a trunk full of clothes, throwing out the trunk would be the last thing on my mind! I love trunks. XD

Make the image the OPENED trunk, please.

Otherwise, it would lead to scamming. It always bothers me with the replacement items in the CS. Would bring it up to eleven with empty/not empty trunks.

On the one hand, I can totally see where you're coming from, because there's at least five or six unopened trunks I've used for treasure chests, but on the other, where does this end?

People are also quite fond of the new MC bags (and the NPC chance bags) so it'd follow that those would have an "opened" version as well. Even if it did remain a Costume Trunk Only thing, that's still losing money, and adding an otherwise useless duplicate to the site (I could be wrong, but the ISS is a weapon after it's used, right?)

I Agree with [User=Bean], Theoretically its a great idea. Realistically however, like she said, it would be more adding other wise useless stuff to the site because, also like she mentioned, it would have to be done for everything open-able...and then I am sure people would want it to extended to potions as well.

I agree...This is a great idea ..I had to purchase extra trunks and chance bags just for pet treasures.

It was just something that I have been thinking about for a while now, I didn't know if it could be done or not, or what it would involve. I just thought if there was a way, it would be nice. Something to think about anyway:) Thanks for your input everyone :)

i love this idea. i for one wouldn't ever spend the sP/cash to buy a trunk soley for a TC, but if there was an open trunk/something simiar i would.

i think specifically with the trucks it might be possible instead of having the opposed open trunk/item that inside the truck is a label that represents that trunk. sort of like those luggage stickers you used to get while traveling, or a luggage tag from each one. both of those options are widely customizable so they could fit with each specific trunk. then you could have something to show what you've purchased, similar enough for what the OP wanted, i believe, but not so much that the sales in the cash shop would be affected.

Eh, I'm not so fond of this. As and already said, it would just be adding some useless items to the site. I think it's a great idea in theory, but I just don't see it being practical for the site. Where would it stop? If trunks got this, then people would want it to spread to Collections and chance bags. Then I can see people wanting potions to turn into an empty bottle after being used, which could lead to people wanting every elixir and bottled "usable" or "drinkable" item to have an empty version. IT could just snowball and get out of hand.

Another thought: a lot of the trunk items aren't even open-able containers: How would these be shown as "opened"? Or would only the trunk item images that are actual containers get an opened item version? If it can't be applied to all of the trunks it just doesn't make sense, in addition to the things I already said.
