Physical Characteristics:

James has blue eyes… They’re not gorgeous, almond-shaped pools of turquoise. They’re just blue. Nothing too special about them, they are a little too small for his face but it’s hard to see though his thick black-rimmed glasses. He doesn’t have the best self-esteem so he often uses makeup to highlight his eyes. James does love his makeup. Foundation is a gift from God to any little gay boy with bad skin.

James’s body is covered in beautiful, glowing, hard muscles that ripple with every move he makes… Just kidding! James is scrawny! He’s not muscular or, what skinny boys that want to make themselves feel better about their petite size, ‘lean’. Actually his body has practically no muscle. Though he’s skinny he’s not lanky, he’s too short it be a lank. When you’re 5’5” you can’t be considered lanky. Two things James never wants to be, lanky or a ginger… James likes his soul.

James, despite his size, isn’t fit. Running is a form of torture to James. He’s lucky he was blessed with a great metabolism or else he would be 500lbs. He swears there isn’t a fat kid inside him, instead there’s a 90 year old woman using a walker and has a wooden leg. That’s his excuse to his gym teacher at least.

His head is covered with medium brown hair that blends in regardless of where you are. Even is his is highlighted. Not with pink, he doesn’t want to be scene, just some dark blonde. He has to keep his hair put of too humid weather or else is would turn into a slight ‘fro… James just can’t rock that look.

Clothing:

Jeans not baggie or skinny, unless he’s trying to impress someone, he likes them just close enough this show off his almost non-existent bum but not tight enough to kill his balls. James likes colourful shirt with the stupidest things on them. His favourite is his Mighty Mouse shirt which is bright green and has a picture of the miniature superhero. He also has lots of Bob Marley, Wham shirts and other strange ones. He also likes overalls, suit jackets and plaid… They’re all his obsessions.

Personality and Quirks:

He can become attached to people very quickly. (He's clingy) His therapist said it was because of his father’s death. Because of his clingy-ness he can also be suspicious and jealous. It’s not a good idea to make him jealous because he is very hot-headed. He can just erupt and even though he’s witty and moderately intelligent he is not very good at calling people names. He uses ‘butthead’ more than he should.

James thinks, because of how possessive he it, that he's should be all his good friends need to be happy. He thinks what can others do that he can't. Because of this James can be very needy with his good friends so they'll always have to be around. People who can't handle that aren't really his friends, are they?

James is a bit of a gold digger. He likes his men to be able to pamper, spoil and support him. He likes to get his friends to buy him food and his boyfriends to buy him anything else.

He is very egotistic and self-centred and it's not going to change. He believes people have to live with it!

James is a cuddler, no matter who it is. He likes to be held.

Sleep is for the weak James thinks. He goes to bed about one every morning and wakes up at 6.

He doesn't seem to have a filter when he talks or his filter just stops the rational and smart things from coming out of his mouth. He'll say the stupidest things even if he didn't intend to and always makes situations awkward.

James sucks at art, singing, dancing (he’s pretty good at the sprinkler though) and most artistic things. He’s not horrible at writing and he can act! Woo!

He also awkward if you don’t think his jokes aren’t funny. He sometimes just likes to make things awkward because he doesn’t like some people.

He has an addiction to lip chap… His lips seem to be constantly dry!

He holds his breath when he walks past old people… Smells bug him so he'll judge people by the way they smell.

He hates cellphones. He just has one so he contact his mom.

He has terrible taste in music. His favourite group is the Millionaires… Gonna party, party, party like a millionaire!

He loves movies! His favourites are Napoleon Dynamite, Rocky Horror Picture Shows, or Mulan! He loves musicals too! He wishes he could sing!

James prides himself on being funny. The only bad part it he loves corny jokes but he’s always telling them wrong! His favourite is ‘Why’d the mushroom buy everyone candy? Because he’s a Fun-guy!’ He often tells that one to new people he’s met. Just to break the ice.

He's awful at accents… But he loves to do them. His favourite is a southern accent, which he does when he gets mad or is trying to be funny. Sometimes he even adds in some southern saying just to be cool.

His favourite show is Tyra Banks so he often starts conversations with ‘Tyra says....’ in his mind they’re on first name basis.

History:

James was born eightteen years ago in Montréal, Quebec. His family moved to Alberta soon after James’s birth. James doesn’t know any of his grandparents, they were either dead or lived in Europe, but he had many cousins that he played with as a child. He was happy child and not much happened to him, besides occasionally getting lost in Canadian Tire, until he was older.

When James was 13 he became the older brother of Katie and loved her with all his heart. He felt like the majority of his life lonely, even with the dozens of cousins, and with the arrival of Katie he had someone to share his old toys with, someone to take care of and it was what he always wanted. Both his parents were around when he was young but they lost his father when he was fourteen and Katie was just one to cancer. His death was hard on his family, it was his father, but they pulled through. But James doubted his mother would ever marry again… Or maybe he just didn’t want her to.

In middle school James found out where he belonged, on stage. He loved to do the plays, give speeches, and he even joined the choir even though he can’t carry a tune. He loved the theatre and he knew when he was older that’s where he wanted to be.

It wasn’t until high school that he noticed he wasn’t attracted to girls. At first he hid it, not ashamed, just not totally ready to tell everyone. His mother accepted him, he knew she would. And that had given him the confidence to come out to his friends and enviably the school. It wasn’t very pleasant. His drama friends understood and most girls stereotyped him and wanted him to go shopping with them but the young boys didn’t understand. There was teasing, bullying and sometimes it got physical. There was never full out fights but he was pushed into lockers, he actually got a swirly once and he was towel whipped in the change rooms. Eventually people went from teasing to ignoring, which James thought was better.
