Link also to the sacking of Kim Kyok-sik, the Head of the North Korean Army.
Speculation is that King Jong-Un is ordering a "purge" of any threats to his regime - executing, imprisoning, and/or sacking those who he deems pose a "threat" to his rule.
After reading some of the stuff that goes on in the North Korean regime, including vetting checks for "pure-blooded North Koreans" - something reminiscent of the Nazi regime in Germany under Adolf Hitler - I find myself wondering why the US and China haven't taken them out yet. They continue to violate essential human rights and murder many of their own people, and yet the US is focused only on Syria.

That makes me want to cry so much more because they were members of a music group. I know from experience how tight, like family, it gets to be in a group like that. I can't imagine what they're going through right now. Fucking Nazi bastard, I'd like to see his head on a stick.
If we're not going to do anything about this little shit then we have no business in Syria either. And since we have no plans to touch him...

I hadn't even heard of this. I think I need to start digging deeper into the news or start finding a new source for my news. This is just tragic, complete and utterly tragic I don't know what to think of the world sometimes and the capabilities we humans have.
I read another article about this on the Huffington Post. I tortured myself by going through the comments-section and reading everything.
Why are people so stupid, ignorant, and...cruel? I mean, how the FUCK can you crack jokes about this?
It's sickening...and I've heard from several people that this might not have happened and is just speculation. Knowing what goes on in North Korea, though, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a true story. I am deeply saddened for the girl... Kim Jong Un...what an evil guy. I hope something is done so that things can change over there, and I mean REALLY change. The state of affairs over there is just...too sad to even think about. I am frustrated with the world. :/
Well, there are "The Adventures of Kim Jong Un", which is a College Humor-made series of cartoon/anime shorts that parody the dictator. They're highly popular, so I can see where people might not take Kim Jong Un and his atrocities seriously.

They're popular because stupid people like that shit. It's sad to me. And cracking jokes about a girl's death is just sick. It doesn't matter why. Real people are suffering because of that psychopath.
You think I'M being harsh, but have nothing to say in regards to the people cracking jokes over the death of a girl who didn't even do anything wrong? Dude, come on. :p
I can joke about the ridiculousness of North Korea and Kim Jong-Un's actions and still empathize with the real suffering of people who live there. I don't think it's mutually exclusive.
I mean as an example, the concept of this desperate country making international threats it can barely back up IS funny. Even if the real threat of war is not.
I guess what I'm saying is that humor is one way to draw attention to how insane a situation is, and to mock the people at fault. When I see joking about NK there's always an undertone of 'this is crazy and wrong.' Even when the situation is serious, levity isn't necessarily cruel.

Doesn't excuse making a joke out of someone's death. For a lot, it is exclusive, as I've already seen on the comment boards. It makes me even MORE pissed, because these people don't live in NK. They DON'T KNOW what it's like. They have the comfort of living in the U.S. or U.K. or Canada. Most of these assholes are from the U.S., though. They're poking fun at the suffering of millions of people. I will never find that okay. You can poke fun at Kim Jong Un, because he's psychotic and a pathetic excuse of a human-being, but poking fun at the people suffering under his hand? No. Just no.
