So, I'm have this awkward feel right now, because I've been watching an awesome show with my Fiancé, and it's fun, because we're doing things together.
But, one of the characters on the show is really attractive. I don't have any girl friends to hang around with, so I don't have anyone but him to talk about silly stuff like this.
It's very awkward finding a show's character attractive, and wanting to make funny comments about it to my S/O. I get really embarrassed feeling inside, even if I don't say anything out loud.
Does that happen to any of you guys?
- Hell no.
I said to Azza the other day 'Oh im having sexy thoughts about (person on TV) and I didnt even notice LOL'
He just laughed.
I would not be with him if I was awkward around him about my feelings.
You're right. It's been a while since I had a tv crush, too, so maybe that's more the reason. I'm a kind of shy person, and can be flustered by pretty silly things.
- oh gosh I get flustered like a pro.
But never when I am with my BB.
He is my comfort blanket so to speak lol
i don't think i feel weird?
the only character i'm like OH GOD I NEED TO SEE MORE OF YOUR HOT ASS is steve on shameless... and christopher feels the same way ~boy crush lol
i don't think there's anything wrong with having a crush on a character/celebrity, it's pretty normal!

Aww, that's so fresh.
I can see that. googles pics I'd never heard of that show before.
.> My tv crush is Vince Noir, from The Mighty Boosh.
I think we all have TV/celebrity crushes. Sometimes I feel a little embarrassed if I start randomly gushing about Robert Downey Jr. in my boyfriend's midst but I find if I start going off, I turn to him and ask him who his TV crush is or who he likes in the particular show/movie we're watching together. If you're both engaged in that kind of conversation, you can share a good laugh.
If it's a guy, I tend to keep it to myself just to be polite to my boyfriend, so he doesn't think I'm comparing him to someone else. If it's a girl, I tend to keep it to myself because I don't think we've had the conversation that I find woman attractive sometimes (I'm straight, but damn!) and I'd think it would be an odd conversation to have. Maybe someday, I don't think he'd care honestly. I get what you mean with that weird feeling though!
That's good advice. >.<
It's only awkward if you make it awkward. If he doesn't like you saying stuff like that, he'll probably just tell you.
Personally, I've never told anyone of my old TV crushes on Keanu Reeves and Daniel Radcliffe (before he turned into a jerk), but that's because there hasn't really been an appropriate situation for me to talk about that.
I feel like that too sometimes. My boyfriend and I both share the same favorite TV show- The Walking Dead. The actor Norman Reedus is in it and UMPHHH omfg he is so attractive I can't even handle it ;____; sometimes I just want to be like "damnnn" but obviously that would be incredibly disrespectful to my boyfriend- I wouldn't want him saying that about other girls in front of me, even if they are just actresses.
I don't have any close female friends either so... I just sort of bottle it in as well. Oh well :[
haha sometimes it can be totally awkward for sure. I have a really close guy friend, and when we are listening to music videos or movies or something, I used to like shut up and not say anything about the people in the shows. But I kinda just... stopped caring and now we joke about stuff like that. :P The other day, I pointed out this guy from our youth group (omg a real person...) and said "Darlin, you need to grow your hair out like that. You actually might be attractive!" He hit me... haha!
Sometimes, I joke about attractive men in movies or something when watching them with my boyfriend, but on the other hand, I'm having talks with him about which girl has the hottest butt in Final Fantasy 12 (it's Fran. Period.) or such things, so I think it's fair :D Sometimes we're talking really seriously about good-looking matters, may it be either gender we're talking about. Mostly, that's pretty funny.
Still I always do it in a joking tone when talking about attractive men 'cause he always seems to be a bit aggrieved about it. Maybe he's just really really jealous :D
