I find it weird that he asks for toys, especially when there's another quest that asks for toys specifically.
How about including items from Bits and Bytes as well? I never see him ask for anything from there, which is kind of strange. O.o
Perhaps he could ask for items from Get Mugged too. Gotta have some snacks and coffee while working on those computers and stuff, right? ;)
Stuff like this would make more sense than toys.
This gets suggested so often, honestly. I feel like one of the reasons it hasn't been changed it because Toy Box have over 500 items restocking and Bits and Bytes only has 200. You're bound to get a lot of repeats and inflation if you make the change I think.
This was actually suggested recently: http://subeta.net/forums/view/905422

He could also ask for items from the trading card center. If he likes to play during his break times it's more likely to be the kind of games represented in there.
Weird. I've honestly never seen it bought up before. Not surprised to see it has been questioned though.
I wouldn't want him to stop asking for toys, because I do realise Bits and Bytes doesn't stock a very wide range of items compared with some of the other shops. This is why I suggest including items from that shop, rather than replacing toys completely. Same reason why I tried to think of other stuff that could be included. Something to give him more variety from the Toy Quests, and have him ask for stuff that you'd actually expect him to want.
Well, why not? Nerd "culture" is full of toy-collecting and that sort of thing. ;) (He really should ask for more items from Bits and Bytes, tho.)
I don't think it's entirely weird that he asks for toys sometimes, if it's a geeky hobby. But it is odd that he's fixing a computer and is like "I forgot some things!" and then sends you off for toys and hands you back computer parts like a case. XD Unless the computer fixing is just a front for his secret geeky toy collection... I think it'd be cool if he asked for BOTH kinds of items.
Yes please! Why do we have two toy quests?? Makes no sense. If you need an to fix your computer, I think it's time to invest in an upgrade instead. :P
i sense that you have you never been to a (gamer) hobby shop. you walk in those places and are usually attacked with the amount of lil action figures (and other nifty nonsense i'd consider toys). i wouldn't mind the addition of something else, though.
ahem
But yeah, as a plushie-collecting computer geek :P I agree - if the computer geek is in the process of working on his PC and needs a few things, then it would be logical for him to at least ask for some things from Bits and Bytes, as there's a limit to the ways you can make use of toys when you're working on a PC (unless of course he's that much of a geek that he's got a toy-powered computer 0:))
