Oh, that was just so very sweet. I wonder what the people who were nodding along with it actually thought when he finished his speech?
This is what I've been saying for a while now, people who oppose gay rights now are just as silly and ignorant as those people who opposed equal rights for PoCs. History will look back on people who have stood against gay rights at best as misunderstood and ignorant and at worst as inhumanely cruel and evil.
