Surely I'm not the first one to have asked this, but is there any chance that there could be an increase to the character limit on pages such as profiles, pet profiles, smail, the like? I know there's a lack of demand, but to be honest, I'd love to see a higher limit.. some stories just end up being too long to fit on a page, and it's a shame to see them have to find other ways to get around this. Maybe a CS item that extends the limit for a pet of choic e that it's used on?

No, I don't want suggestions as to where I could host stories and link to them, and I don't want any opinions on long stories in general. Sorry, I'm just looking for an increase of the character limit, because a few people, including myself, run into the character limit being an issue sometimes.

This isn't really a limit we impose, this is a structural limit for databasing purposes. It's unlikely to ever be increased.
