I think it would be so awesome for there to be houses on Subeta. For instance, you would go to the housing agent and it will let you choose where you want to live and you would get a basic house. Then, you can go to your home and you'll have the option to buy add on's. Also, it would finally give the furniture on this site a purpose instead of sitting in shops, galleries, inventories, or pets treasures.
Of course choosing where you live doesn't mean the artists would have to change to places around to accommodate the housing. It would be more like you would go to your friends profile and it will give you an option to see their home and you can go. The places on the map can stay the same. But I do think that choosing where you live will give the style of home you are living in. For instance, in centropolis, you can live in an apartment or mansion. In riverside, a shack. In veta lake, a lake house. Ect, ect.
I love this idea and agree with you. Houses would be AMAZING to have around to decorate and play with. I think Keith has promised these in the past and we have to wait for more stability before he can do anything about it though. Patience, it's really hard but Sigh.. yeah.
This has been brought up time and time again, and every single time it's shot down. I don't want it, I know other users don't want it, and I'm fairly certain Keith has said it's not going to happen.
I like this idea BUT I don't want it to be like they have it on Neopets. I find it pointless and tacky. Subeta is good at coming up with creative stuff though so I would support it.

I don't find the idea of houses appealing, they had them on Neoets and they were fun for an hour. This seems like it would be a lot of work for a feature that wouldn't be used by a majority of users.
Houses on Subeta are probably never going to happen, and it seems to be suggested every few months. They actually put this on the Frequently Requested Suggestions thread, under "frequently asked and denied."
