This idea has come entirely too late (by which I mwan the late, great Solarflare set revamps), but there might be a chance it can still working depending on if it's server friendly or not:

Why not have a transform ability to each SubQ piece that gets revamped. That way it can keep everyone happy. I just don't know how server- heavy this can be like I said keeping both the old and new image data for each piece. It's a thought, though

I don't support this at all. Besides the fact the art is outdated in most cases (just because you still like it or don't feel it needed doesn't change that fact), where will this stop?

Should collection items (do they even get revamped?) be given this option? Should costume trunks? What about basic restockables?

What about item art? Those perfect TC items that change drastically during a revamp, should those be given this option? And pet art too?

Revamps aren't always going to be perfect, and hopefully staff can see when the general consensus is upset about a change, hopefully some of the major issues of the last revamp can be fixed, but that doesn't mean that e site should be forced to hold subpar art that doesn't represent the current standards.

While I really dislike the recent revamp I don't think having items be transformable into old art is a good idea. That would mean that, eventually, there might be double the true amount of items on site. I would think that would be taxing on the servers. Besides that, the site really doesn't need to cater to people who dislike the new art. I'm saying that as someone who doesn't like the new Rainyday revamp. :p
