So, in the Custom Items Guidelines it explains that;

We are not able to "draw original facial features".

But, then, it goes on to say that we can "submit clothing that enhances these features such as makeup that works with existing base eyes or lips".

This confuses me. Might anyone have any clarity on this?

I haven't seen a thing out there (mind you I haven't been to EVERY thread) as far as people making any "makeup" items.

Has anyone out there tried this? Please let me know what you know because I have something in mind. Any help is appreciated.

you can't draw actual features, but you can draw makeup that are meant to go WITH existing features.

for example, if you can't have a CW that is something like , but you can try to have eyeshadow meant to go with the default Cache eyes, for example

Since the base price for a CW is 500 CSC, it's really not worth it to spend on something like lipgloss or eyeshadow. I know did which was extremely popular.

Thanks guys. I just am confused though because all of the base eyes are different sizes. So it would be impossible to make an eyeshadow, for example, that fits them all. Know what I mean?

And, as far as making lipstick, well, all the lipstick items are essentially mouths and cover the base mouths regardless. Like this for example: .

So... I still don't really get it.

And, I see what you mean by it might not be worth it, because it's such a small item? I dunno. I hope my idea pans out.

Yeah, I know it's confusing. I can't find the post but Keith pretty much said that something like lipstick that is a mouth wouldn't be allowed, but you could make a sheer/transparent item like lip gloss

Hm, ok. I guess that sounds.... reasonable. I dunno. I don't see why they offer the option at all. It doesn't make sense to me that we can't make eyes/mouths. I'm sure there's a reason though.

Well, there are already wearables of eyes and mouths. Nothing that isn't already existing as far as wearables go is what I meant.

you can still make suggestions for different eyes/mouths! we have tons of shirts or whatever but that hasn't stopped people from making more suggestions for different kinds of shirts. ;)
