Something Wrong With Pet Slot Count?

I was on my pet list page when I saw this:
"You are using 14 of your 9 pet slots."
What? 9? Shouldn't it say 5 or 10? I've bought a few slots with csc or a loyalty totem and the others were default with a GA. I bought my last slot a couple weeks ago with a week-long GA. Is this a glitch or is there an empty slot I'm unaware of?
Its because your GA expired, if/when you get another GA it will then say 14 of 14.. This means that you have 5 less slots - however you don't lose the pets, it just means that if you abandon a pet you won't be able to refill the slot until you get another GA.

On my profile it says 9/8, and I have not added any extra slots, only added 1 extra pet when I had a GA. So you have at least one extra, I don't know how many you have added. If you added more, maybe you need a GA to activate them? I'm not sure.
