I think it would be nice if the Subeautique Invitation was made readable; all the invitations from the masquerade event are readable, and it makes sense for an invitation to be readable.

This might reach some opposition because it would probably increase the price of these invitations, but what do you guys think?

EDIT: most people who have replied have made the amazing suggestion of increasing the drop of invites, just in order to balance the price, which could solve the problem of price

The Subeautique invitations were implemented with the intention of increasing the price of buying SubQ items. I'm all for this suggestion as it should increase the value of the invites while also providing us with another readable item for our pets.

As a SubQ regular, I would not want an invite value increase.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind the invites being readable, I just don't want a permanent price increase as a result. Of course if it were implemented there'd be an increase from the mad dash to read to pets but an overall increase in average price would suck insanely, especially during the holidays when the invite values surge through the roof.

I'm against this. It's a currency and I don't think it should be used for any other purpose other than what it was made to do.

I always love getting another book for my Pets to read so, being an egoist here, I am not against this suggestion.

If SubQ can sell books that cost that much, makes sense the invitation would be readable.

Besides, if it were readable, value and we might see more of them drop into our inventories, because the frequency of it depends on the shop values. n__n Win win!

I wonder how much the price of the invites would rise... It would be nice and logical for this item to be readable, but if it means that SubQ invites will be 2mil+ in the future, then it's a bad idea. Of course, there are always more invites coming via random events, so everyone has a pretty good chance at getting them for free. Hmm.

Actually the other invitations in their original form are useable items which when used/redeemed turn into books , so maybe an re while redeeming an invite giving out a readable invitation(but not redeemable)......

I'm all for this! If the invites were made readable, there would be an immediate uptick in price, but so many of them are given out every day that they would stabilize pretty quickly. The price of invites is really low right now anyway.

I like this suggestion more, personally. I wouldn't argue being able to read the invite, but this makes more sense and would cause less of a ruckus with adamant SubQ buyers.

I personally wouldn't like this very much. I don't care at all about clothes so I just hoard and sell the invites. I've never ever redeemed one and don't ever plan to, so my opinion is probably a little biased. I suppose I could just buy a readable one from someone else, but then it seems like people who redeem invites get an extra reward for redeeming, especially redeeming on a regular basis. It's kind of weird to incentivize that particular action as it doesn't really benefit the site or economy. Then people who wouldn't normally redeem invites might buy up a bunch and redeem them just for a chance at the readable version, causing inflation of invites like you wanted to avoid. I guess it depends on just how rare the readable version would be.

If the invitation was just made readable, maybe they could increase the frequency of the random event slightly to offset the larger demand and keep the price the same.
