These are some of my favorite layers in the wardrobe but the definition between them annoys me to no end.

and in the ankle layer (as well as most short socks) while fall under the feet layer.

are in the leg layer while are in the ankle layer. If it's because of the fact that the latter isn't above the knees why is in the ankle layer instead of the leg layer as it goes up higher than the Toy Soldier ones.

might be the only set of socks in the leg layer (it might not be) even though some items like go higher up on the ha and are in the ankle layer. And of course is lower than both of those and it's still in the leg layer.

I'd like a more firm definition for the ankle and leg layers (and the socks taken out of the feet layer) if at all possible. Feet = shoes. Ankles = below the knee. Leg= above the knee. Or maybe push the Ankle layer down to be mid calf since the knee is a lot higher than the ankles.

It makes things really hard to find between the layers when every piece that goes on your legs feels like it's in a different layer without rhyme or reason.

Maybe someone from staff can explain why certain things go in certain categories. I know dresses that cover a lot of the avatar get put in Body instead of Chest. Hopefully this is addressed in the wardrobe revamp.

Yeah but the difference in covering for some of these are pretty much nonexistent. I can put on Ankle items the same length and leg items and the such.

I do agree that the way these are categorized are weird. I'm just wondering if there's a logical explanation that I'm overlooking. The stockings in the ankle category definitely don't seem to make any sense to me. The ankle category kind of bothers me to be honest, but we have so many ankle items that we need it for layering. It's not like we have a separate wrist category.

I agree, it's a bit messed up...the same goes for Hat/Head. Most crowns/tiaras are in the hat layer, but there are a few in the head layer as well...

Hopefully these kinds of discrepancies will be sorted out when the new wardrobe is implemented.
