I'm just wondering for this achievement, can you make the same combination more than once? Or do they all have to be unique?

my guess, and it's only a guess, is that it doesn't matter at all which combinations you make, because the other Genetech achievemetns are not particular, nor are the defeat challengers x times particular to which pet you beat them with. . This is a really expensive Achievement, and I haven't heard of anyone getting it since 2009, so I dont' think any user here knows for sure. I'd file a Ticket to be sure, though.

It only takes two to test the theory... regardless it's what I'm going for. Or rather, I'm going for the wardrobe one, which is why I'm wondering, because otherwise I could just buy/trade for the other combo items.

the Wardrobe one specifies which ones you need, and doesn't require any combination, so I'm confused. If you're going for wardrobe, you'd need one of each. But the Combo one only requires 25. and there are more than 25 possible combinations of two sets of nine.

: i know but the point I'm trying to make is that when you merge two items, the value of the resulting item is usually less than the value of the two items you used to merge them separately. so to complete the wardrobe one I could just buy all of the combos. But then I would only get one achievement done, so if I wanted to get the other one done, I'd pick the cheapest combination items and make that combination a number of times so that I don't have to make each unique combination and use that much more sP. We're talking tens of millions i could be saving, maybe more.

Aemis and Lucent, which are two of the items I have in the Wardrobe, these are Legendaries, but they are not Legendary Combo. In particular, the Legendary Combo you get by merging Aemis and Lucent is the Aspersion.

If you buy combos already made, you gain no achievements at all.

To answer your question a bit more simply: for the Merger achievement you can make any legendary combo. You could even make the same combo 25 times if you really wanted.

And if you buy the combos rather than combining them yourself they still count towards the wardrobe achievement. A lot of people get this achievement just by borrowing them rather than buying them, though.

: You get the wardrobe achievement for having all combinations in your wardrobe.

: Thank you that was the answer I was looking for. I plan on obtaining them all (:
