yaaay new kitten. Honestly I don't like the idea of a new cat =__= Its worse because he adores me, like, he has been living on my side of the couch all day, cried all of last night until i put his sleep kennel up on my bed

... My dad is super mad as my mom and sister brought him home without mentioning it, so thats part of where my skepticism for him staying comes from. UPDATE: We are keeping him, He curled up next to my dad when he was asleep, instantly loved him.

<_< also because at 5 in the morning he decided to do a kitten style butt reverse fall asleep on my head thing.

But kittens falling asleep on your head is the best part of having kittens!

I know right : D He has cocaine nose. hah. I feel incredibly bad for our older cat, Gushi. Shes got a very solid personality and her response to the new kitten is, pardon my french... fuck all you bitches. And I mean, she hated me before, but would at least let me pet her and play the belly roll game.. Now? She looks at me and hisses. It hurts a little :c Plus I really don't want to end up taking care of him. I've got my geckos at my boyfriends house and they are a big responsibility already... Even though he is supposed to be my sisters cat, and care problems... he picked me over her :

Aw... well when there aren't wet food farts and when you're not fighting off a cold, kittens sleeping on your head is the best. All my kittens grew out of that head-sleeping-on phase pretty quickly, so hopefully he moves on to a more reasonable sleeping spot soon.

Unno. Our two year old cat still sleeps on my moms head. Then again she also sucks on blankets still so, shes a special case. Hopefully he moves onto the blankey mound I set up for him in the corner of my bed.

Oooh, I think when cats still try to nurse on things it means they were taken away from their moms too young. That's what I was told anyway, they weren't weaned properly or something, so keep on sucking on things. Good luck with this kitten, I hope he is more adjusted than your mom's cat. Kittens are fun, but they are work, so I understand why the idea of a new surprise kitten isn't awesome, but I hope things work out with this new kitten.

Its so cute! Yeah I know what you mean about that, my dogs didn't like it when I brought my kitten home. She may just need time to adjust to the new cat. :c The kitty may need time to adjust, eventually he may move on to your sister. You never know. T.T I guess you could just talk to your sister and tell her you don't want to end up taking care of the cat. Make sure she knows you won't do it.

She was a stray we found in a tim hortons parking lot :c she also fetches, and scratches the door to get out. I hope so too! Considering another backwards cat would only add to animal based effort.

My dog actually loves the new kitten. Winstons not so fond of the dog yet, but he has stopped hissing and growling when the dog gets near, so big step for him! ._. i hope he moves to my sister, but it looks bleak, She tried picking him up and cuddling him, he squirmed and walked back to me and started to rub on my face. She was almost in tears -_____-;

That's good! I'm sure Winston will warm up to everything. How long have you had him? ;___; Oh no. . . it may be because he's young, my kitten, Cillian, used to be all over me and just me. He would only love on me and cuddle me, but as he grew older he loves everybody now.

We just got him yesterday actually! Gotta post him on subeta when he is at maximum cuteness! I hope it goes that way then.. It didn't with Gush, she only got more favoritism oriented.

He's adorable!! I miss when my cats were kitties; they'd always sleep with me at night right by my pillow but that hasn't happened in a looong time :P I'm lucky if they even want to sleep down by my feet now. Hopefully your new kitty and your old one will get along! Might be they just need some adjusting time, who knows :)

Nooo! Let little baby Winston sleep!! How old is your sister? You've had cats before it seems, so she should know not to wake him. Or is this her first time having a kitten?

Okay good. I didn't want to sound rude. I mean, she won't learn if he grows up and him not like her. :( Or maybe she'll just get another cat. Honestly I think Winston will grow up and love everybody. But just keep telling her that he needs sleep would be my suggestion. There's nothing you can do if she doesn't listen. :/
