Because I found Snowflaik and turned her in, I received Eater. However, I did not get the achievement.

So, what I'm understanding here is that the only way to get the achievement is if I actively FIND Eater in the pumpkin patch, not that I GAIN Eater from the local grumpy pumpkin master.

This sort of feels like a frustrating loophole, but I suppose I can understand it.

Does anyone else have a thought on this or did I get a glitch here?

nope, no glitch. it's always been this way, that to get the achievement for the minion that year you had to find it in the patch.

Alright, I figured this wasn't a glitch, but I just thought I'd put it out there. Still, it was a little frustrating to get excited to see him offer me Eater as a reward, only to realize that it wouldn't fulfill the needs for the achievement. Thanks folks.
