Buying items for CSC

Sorry if this has been suggested before but could we maybe get an option for usershops to be able to sell things for CSC as well as sP? Or just one or the other, you could price your objects in CSC or in sP. I dunno, I was just thinking about it for CWs especially it would be nice because then people could just put them in their shop for the price they want to sell them instead of only being able to use trades. /shrug Just an idea. c:
But then what use would the trades have? The whole point of trades it the ability to purchase things with items/CSC or SP.

Trades would be used for.... trades. lol item trades. plus there's a limit to how much sP you can sell something for in shops, so the same kind of thing. or if you want to buy something with a mixture of different things,
I'm not really all for the suggestion. I wouldn't like looking through shop search to see csc and sp items and I wouldn't like to have to toggle between the two options if they were separated just so I could see what's for sale
I like this idea. The problem with trades right now is that there are no filters other than the name of item and seller. If I don't know exactly what I'm looking for, and just want to find CWs, or not CWs, or CS items, I'd have to scroll past many many lots.
If things are in a shop, I can go to a person's shop and see all the stuff they have for sale.
Trades wouldn't become obsolete even if this was implemented, because it can be used for things like borrowing items, giving items to friends, trading for items, auctions etc

No. Shops should always stay sP. If you want to sell items for CSC, use trades or put up a selling thread. We already have channels that work perfectly, no need to create duplicate features :)
It woudln't really be a duplicate feature, it would eliminate the waiting time if people know how much they want for an item.
We don&;t want CSC to go beyond being a secondary currency. If you want to trade CSC, you&;ll have to use the cards in the CS.

<p>Ok! Hasn&;t been shot down, but it hasn&;t been agreed to. I have seen a quote from Keith saying he doesn&;t want CSC to become a "Second Currency" and if you want to use it to buy items you&;ll have to use the gift cards thus making it a bit harder/more of a pain. With that in mind I think perhaps this idea is a no go. I think we have more than enough cards at the moment and there is really no need for more.
Is something she wrote in January. So I feel like this sort of suggestion has been shot down multiple times. Sorry for the ping you just posted here so I thought it was okay.
This is unlikely to ever happen. CSC is accepted only in official pages created by us (Cash Shop, etc) that we can monitor and set prices for specifically. We're not really interested in handing that over to users.

That's a pretty ridiculous argument when you know that we CAN already trade stuff for CSC, the CW market is a pretty good example of people setting prices in CSC for their items, at resale, that you have absolutly no control over.
(Because text affects the width of your signature, we suggest testing with all text removed to be sure your width is correct.)
