This. He didn't earn that money through any good means and he probably earned it through the suffering of others. Nothing wrong with not wanting to accept bloody money.

I'm not saying the US is a beacon of light or something, but there's just shit you don't do if you wanna keep relationships with other nations in a good state, and dealing with known terrorists is one of those things.

I think it was a taunt. To the US and other nations. He was like "oh we terrorist have all this money to help the disaster victims" meanwhile their gunning people down and blowing them up and hiding from the countries trying to capture them and put an end to that.
