This is kind of a minor issue, but I think having to wait a minute between sMails and then having the message you get typed out get deleted if you try to send it at 50 seconds instead of 60, for example, is pretty annoying. I mean, why is it necessary? Is spamming really an issue on Subeta? And even if it is, wouldn't 30 seconds be sufficient? I run into this a lot because I tend to reply to commission related sMails in batches, and my mails generally consist of "how does this look?" with an image attached. And it's just kind of a nuisance to have to wait. Not a major nuisance, but...kind of a nuisance.

This is exactly why I installed a time into my browser.

OTL It's hella annoying. I agree that 30 seconds should be sufficient. And maybe put some kind of security in place, like if someone sends over a hundred messages in a single hour that it alerts the system or something?

I normally type my messages on notepad to avoid them being eaten by pages not loading/site glitches, then if I'm trying to reply to more than one person at once I run into this n_n

Tbh I'd like to see this gone (it reminds me of the timer on neopets' forums, lol) and have something like suggested implemented in its place :/

Oh my god yes, this has gotten me many times and I hate iiitt. It always manages to happen the ONE time I didn't c+p before sending, too.

I'll always run into the one reply that will be someone asking what an item is or telling me thank you or something that will just need a sentence or two and Subeta is like 'nope' it didn't take long enough for you to type a sentence. That and when I get flooded with things to reply to I often like to type them all out in new tabs and send them at once (so that I don't get any replies while I'm working on catching up) and that doesn't work with Subeta.

Luckily I have a browser add on that will save lost textbox typing and things so it's not too big of a deal.

i think the one minute wait is silly. i can imagine it being for spam but it hinders more than it helps. i myself am a fast typer. when i know what i want to type, it doesn't take long and i press send. i've been running into that issue lately where i try to send, but then NOPE. yes for either reducing or removing! :)

The wait is dumb as hell, but if for some reason it HAS to stick around, it'd be a lot nicer if it didn't delete the message automatically.

Yes please, I'd love to see this gone! A few times when I was a noob I didn't even realize the message didn't go through cause I didn't know I had to wait 60 seconds and I've waited days for an answer to mails I never sent XD

It would be nice if the message didn't delete, but alternatively, would reducing the time to 30 seconds or so (like what they did for the Libertine Lounge, etc) be better? The limit would still be there to prevent spam, but it wouldn't be so annoying.

You have no idea how many times I've wanted this gone. I type so fast sometimes, its just a hassle.

I would like to see changes being made for the mail system, too!

I mean I thought this is a community site and on community sites you should be able to communicate (and not only on the forums) but sMails have time limits and are overall horrible to use with massive scrolling etc. and for longer comments you now have to use tricks that won't work anymore once the site recode comes as I heard, so...I don't know but I'd like it if there would be improvements.
