I love Subeta's pets for their originality.

If they made them look half like Pokemon then that would be lost.

Plus it's just not ethical.

I just don't understand what the point would be? Subeta is Subeta, Pokemon is Pokemon. If you want Pokemon, go play the games? We have some parody items and those are enough.

Subeta likes to be original. They aren't going to use pets to rip off a game franchise. And, not to be rude, but it sounds like a very immature idea, not at all fitting with other subeta pets.

And, at any rate, I'd like them to finish what they've started instead of creating whole new species. There are plenty of colors/pet combos out there that are on the to-do list.

Do you realize that pokemon are copyrighted characters? Subeta wouldn't do that even if they wanted to its boring and unoriginal.

If you want a pokemon pet get an overlay I know of a few on the site, I have one myself. But as for Subeta making a half-subeta and pokemon pet it's not going to happen. I love Pokemon myself but not such a good idea.

If you can't take criticism than why even post in the suggestion forums?There is nothing to get mad about thats what happens when you make a suggestion not everyone will agree with you.If you knew that pokemon are copyrighted characters than you could have figured out that Subeta most likely won't make colors of characters that don't belong to them.

Well, you are here for 3 days. Maybe learn to love the Pets we have and don't let Subeta start copying? If you want your Pet to look like a Pokemon get an Overlay. We have this freedom here, so use it if you insist on a Pokemon Pet.

That's EXACTLY what it's about. Even only copying the style and use different colors is theft and Subeta would get in huge trouble because of that. You won't see this happen EVER.

And btw, acting like this because people don't like your idea? Not a good start, seriously.

Don't feel bad because people didn't like your idea. It was a suggestion and other users are allowed to give their opinions on it. You're very new to the site and so it's understandable that you wouldn't 'get' what Subeta is about yet. That's okay - you'll get used to it all in time, and it's a great site to be a part of :]

Pokemon is a completely different concept, set in a completely different world. If you want to merge some Subeta pets with Pokemon, you could always doodle your ideas, but it's never something that would be incorporated officially into the site. Many users who are Pokemon fans use overlays (images which cover up the official pet art) to make their pets look like Pokemon (see Pikachu) so maybe that's a route you could go down. (:

People are allowed to disagree with suggestions. xDD I've made S&I boards people didn't like before. And it's my understanding that staff wants to know if a bunch of people dislike an idea, because it helps them decide whether to implement something or not!

That being said, I agree with most of the posters here. Even if there wasn't the copyright issue, Subeta pets have a unique style and I don't think that'd mesh well with another series. If you're wanting a pet that looks like a Pokemon, though, I would suggest commissioning an overlay.
