i know i don't talk about on the forum but is mostly because i have nothing to share with you or to say.

But yesterday i was work at the groceries shop and it was have a bunch of people and where i was in the cash i was have to do the bottle the lottery ticket, call a taxi or the grocery clerk . But when it have a rush i have to run and do everything but sometime the costumer don't have patience and yell at me because i don't pass is groceries and mostly it annoying me when they yell at me since i don't have 8 feet and 8 arm

But yea it almost all time like that ...

If you have a stories like that just let it out ^^

Luckily my family's business (a shaved ice stand, yum) doesn't get very many angry customers. I do recall one woman getting incredibly upset because the straw she asked for tasted too much like plastic. =|

I can weave you tales about the rude customers that I've had, but that would take faaaar to long. I do have one guy that comes in every week, though, and if you so much as even look at him before he's decided on what he wants he's nasty to you. But then, by that token, if you don't serve him the moment he's ready he'll chuck a mini tantrum too. It's gotten to the point where I and other members of my work have identified certain mannerisms he does when he's made up his mind and approach. And if we're serving other people when he's ready? Oops, bad luck.

the worse i think in my job is when costumer think they right about the price of something and you call the groceries clerk for see if they right but they don't and they start complain because is to much hight price and don't take it and just look at me like if i,m stupid and can't do correctly my job

People are jerks. I worked at a Burger King and I felt I was so poorly treated that I had to quit. Customers can not seem to think logically. The cashier that they are yelling at does not decide what the prices are. And it seems like they forget that you are human and have many things to do in a short amount of time, so you can not do what they want that very second. I am sorry that happens to you. Try to focus on the better customers.

I know but even some are really jerk and just make a simple girl half cry or make her really to much stressed they dont realize how much some time is hard to be in a rush and run a way and other for take every one order x.x

I cried a lot at Burger King. My bosses could not do anything about it, so I either had to cry and take it, or quit.

1 year before i work at the grocery shop i was work at a place name Tim hurton ( it like donuk donuts but in Canada ) . And all time i was work at is place i was felt sick and not comfy. Feel like i'm not welcome there and 3 weeks after i start work my grand father was need to go to the hospital so i call my boos for tell him i was not able to go work and he yells at me and fired me i was don't care but i was felt better to stop work there. The job i have now i like it i like the person i work with. Yes I make mistake because i,m still new and don't know every thing. But when someone yells at me i feel bad and sad and just want to cry or hide in a mouse hole. If they can just for a moment think before act or just be in my place in situation like that they will stop and understand.

oh mY GOSH.

I work at McDonald's and we get some nasty customers. Honestly, I haven't dealt with anyone too bad, but I've heard horror stories about people throwing their wrong orders or their change at cashiers, or cussing them out. I got some lady flipping out at me a few weeks ago because I didn't give her enough ketchup packets. She asked for extra ketchup, I gave her one packet. That's what I'm supposed to do, I'm not a mind reader, I didn't know everyone in your group wanted ketchup. You need to ask me for a specific number if you want it. She started bitching at me, so I gave her one more. Had she been nice to me, and politely asked for more, I would've given her three packets right then and there. She practically started screaming at me that it wasn't enough ketchup so I just handed her the third pack over the counter and just stared at my register for awhile before she went away. Then she started cursing me to the other lady in her group and stormed off to Playland.

I hate that people treat service employees so poorly. People start believing that their behavior is okay (that whole "the customer is always right" spiel), that they're really better than us and therefore allowed to treat us as subhuman. I'd really like to walk into their offices, their legal firms, hospitals, or their design offices, etc., and throw an all out violent tantrum because of some little thing they did wrong that can be easily and calmly remedied. I'd probably be escorted out by security, maybe even arrested for disturbing the peace. But if they do the same thing in my workplace, the workplace of a minimum wage worker, what do they get? Free replacements, free stuff, and/or an ego boost. It's so sad.

That really nasty . If i want more ketchup i will just ask the person at the cash if i can have more ketchup mostly like that -- Sorry miss/mister but can i have one more ketchup thing please -- the girl or the boy will say -- well of course -- after i will thank with a big smile and go sit back and enjoy my food
