I've been zapping one pet at both zappers pretty much whenever I log in. However, theyve gone from Darkonite to Swampie.. to Darkonite.. to Swampie.. Changed genders once, sometimes the v2 changes the slime into other kinds of slime.. Darkonite to Swampie... to Darkonite..

Isn't it supposed to be more random than that..? Or are both labs meant to mostly change it between two species? :x Really sorry if this is a dumb question.

- as far as I know they are completely random. I do remember getting a lot of swampies though. And the zapper 2 kept giving my pet sex changes, over and over again. The formula for what you get may be weighted a bit, like you are far more likely to get a swampie than say a spectrum pet, but I think the fact that you keep changing from swampie to darkonite is just bad luck.

I think that the odds of getting a swampie or darkonite are bigger then other species/colours yes...but it is still random :P

I have done a statistical analysis, and you are a lot more likely to get a darkonite or a swampie from the regular pet zapper than any other species. It's just what that one does.

The Ultimate Pet Zapper has even odds for each of its results, but one of the possible results is Experiment, and you can also get an Experiment from the color change result, so your odds of getting an Experiment are slightly higher than any other result. The UPZ always turns minions into slimes or goops when you get that result. Slimes and goops can sell for more than a minion, sometimes enough to pay for a lot more zaps. It's usually worth your while to change your minion out and put a new victim in.
