I don't know if anyone else uses notepad to make the list of "kiss" and "harvest" friends or other events but I did yesterday and it worked all morning and now I get this error

This happens to make sometimes but a refresh usually solves the problem.

they are designed to go stale, it is intentional.

As said, the links expire. You need a new link about every half hour.

I didn't keep any particular one "open" it was just me clicking it in the notepad...

nevertheless, when the link is first created by you, it has a timer on it whether you wish it or no. If you never use it, like if you stop kissing other users long enough to make dinner and eat (who has that kind of time? there's candy hearts to get!) it will still expire.

yes, that does seem weird. It's always gone stale within a half-hour for me, just like for the other folks posting here. I think this staleness thingy first started when they added a dancing link or a tot link Iafter there just being the one), years ago.
