So, I'm in college and have a very nitpicky professor that needs everything done perfectly(to even what direction the stable is facing, yeesh!) and I lost the original copy of a paper I have to redo I've looked literally everywhere in the house and the only place left would be the trash, and that got picked up already. I emailed the professor if a copy would do, without the paper, so long as no edits were made what-so-ever, especially considering I have to essentially re-write the whole thing.

But I'm panicking so much and I really don't know what to do if she says 'no' because it's worth 20% of my grade, and it'll mean I got a 50% on the paper, and it's just....I'm very prone to panic attacks, and I just want to curl up in a ball and cry. What should I do?

EDIT: I would up finding it in the deep depths of my room. Except now I'm all bleary-eyed and my chest is hurting so much. ;.; Whelp, time to redo the paper.

First, take a deep breath. At least you found it. Take your time to redo the paper so that it's the very best you can do. Then when it's done sit down with a big bowl of ice cream and watch a favorite movie. (that is unless your lactose intolerant then please do not eat the ice cream) college can be a scary place I know how you feel, I once did the same thing lost a paper I had to redo and panicked. I'm glad you found it though.
