Dead Squirrels!

This is really weird. Last night I found a dying squirrel in the street. I took it and tried to feed it and stuff, but it died earlier this today. And now, about a half an hour ago, I found a dead squirrel in my yard that's next to the road where I found the previous squirrel. It's weird. I looked for any wounds, but there were none. I don't know what's going on here. :

sounds like somebody's putting out poison, I'd stay away from them, maybe call the humane society to come check it out if you find a third.

Sounds like a strong poison. I'd call animal control or something. I doubt something this strong is legal.

Yea, I should...I have a pug, so...Let's hope he doesn't get into it before I call.

but yeah it could be poision, i hope your pug is okay. i love puuuugs.
I wanted to add that I wouldn't let your pug outside until you know where this poison is originating from. (if it is poison, which it sounds like it is).
Just take him out to a spot in your yard to do his business and then take him back in right away.

that sometimes happens in my yard and it isn't from poison it was a squirrel that fell from our roof and it had no wounds either then there was another one that over estimated the strength of a branch it was sad :( if you find a third in the exact same place i would call it suspiciouse and call it poison because thats a little too much coincidence

Eww. Don't touch they has rabies. But yeah, sounds like poison. I saw a dying squirrel in the road before, it was bleeding in some places, his nose was bleeding, oh god, it was sad. Me and the friend I was with went back to my house and got a shovel and moved the poor thing out of the road :C

Hmhm i agree. I would call, and usally i wouldn't touch a dead animal because you never know.
