Other than reading books, what other methods/items give intelligence points? Cheers :)

There are intel boosters like , but I think those are gonna cost you more than buying books, at least for a while. Jobs have a chance of giving intel boosts too.

If your pet is low on intel, you can play Mystic Spindles in the games room, but that quickly becomes too expensive to bother.

There aren't really any quick ways to earn intelligence other than reading. I think the pet zappers sometimes give intelligence points, and you can "buy" intelligence with the points you earn by playing Mystic Spindles, but neither of those methods are quick.
