I certain person on a certain petsite (No, not here. ;P A different site) Mailed me today about an item that I bought from their shop. The item usually sells for around 400K. I bought it for 40k. A fair snipe, in my opinion. So they mail me, at first being very nice and saying they mis-priced it, and if I still had the item and would be nice enough to sell it back to them for what I paid, they'd be very grateful. But, I already used the item, so I explained to them it was already gone. And now they're whining about it saying it's not fair and should be against the rules and crap.

And yes, before anyone says block them, I already did. It just makes me so frustrated. A snipe is a snipe. YOU priced it wrong, YOU deal with it. Or better yet, do like I do and double check your prices before you hit submit.

(Also, this is NOT the first time this has happened to me. Do I have "I'm a push-over, I sniped your under-priced item but I'll give it back if you ask" written on my forehead or what?)

So CC, what petsite peeves do you have? (It doesn't necessarily have to be a peeve about users. It could be about a certain system they have in place, or something.

It bugs the poodles out of me when people ask for my pets. If I have not put said pet ufa the pet is not up for grabs. Even worse than that is when people ask to be wait-listed. Seriously? You want me to make up a waiting list in case I figure I don't want my pets anymore? With you, strange person who I don't know, topping that glorious list with that ballsy request you just made? I don't think so, buddy. The buck stops here. It stops, right, here. :x

That's super annoying. I've mispriced items before and it makes me SO MAD when it's something that's really expensive too ): but I would never ask someone for the item back. It's really great if people want to return the items, but I know I would personally never ask since it's MY fault that I slipped up and priced it wrong. That's crappy that person didn't understand that you had already used the item, it's not like you were purposely trying to be malicious because they made a mistake.

I agree with about people asking to be 'wait-listed' for pets. It's really ridiculous. None of my pets have UFA written on their profiles, so why would you even ask v____v I've had people ask me if they could have a pet if I don't want it any longer and I never know how to react. The only way I would give a pet to someone is if that person adopted the pet out to me or whatever. I don't get people waiting on and begging for other people's pets...

I also get very annoyed when people ask me for my pets- I just find it rude. Even worse when they're trying to pretend they're not begging ("omg, your pets are SOOO cool, I'd love to have them!! If you ever don't want them, let me know. teeheee"). The worst is on Neopets, good God. I have 16 painted aishas there, one of which is UC. They're all beautifully named and crap, and last time I was there someone started an /hour long/ fight with me because I was a horrible person for quitting and "leaving those pets there to rot". I even left the board after trying to explain (very nicely) that they were my pets and I can do whatever the hell I want with them. They continued to mail me, freaking out and calling me names. Jfc, they're just Neopets.

I guess I just hate unnecessarily rude people, online and off. What satisfaction do you get for being a total prick to people? Another Neopets example- I came back after around a year of hiatus, and made a board asking for someone to catch me up. This one person just started going off about me being lazy and wanting everyone to do everything for them. If you don't have anything nice to say, why the hell are you saying anything at all?

I agree with you...And It shouldn't be against the rules..If I go to a store and get something cheap The store don't call me and say bring it back...If they did I would laugh in the phone and hang up on them...LOL

Yeah, I've seriously under-priced items by mistake, but like said, it was my own fault, it sucks, but there's nothing I can do about it. c;

I did that once, thankfully he had two items I had on my wishlist and he willingly gave them to me ^^

My pet peeve about pet sites are item prices, some of the dumbest stuff is INSANELY expensive and some of the good stuff is extremely cheap.

Oh my god. Do I have a story for you! This one girl she was being a kiss up on a "guild"(cult on a different site) by taking care of everything. Classes, webpages of all sorts(HP) then I asked if I could take on something...It's ALL GONE! I can't! I got all mad saying why can't she give on up to give to me, but nooo!

I get annoyed too when I misprice items...but I know it's my own stupid fault and I'd never ask for something back. That's just bitchy. Anymore though, I use autoprice on here...and I've gotten to the point where if I misprice an item or two through that, I really don't care.

A little while ago someone "accidentally" bought something from my shop....for a couple mil. They commented me and were like I DIDN'T MEAN TO BUY IT WAH BUY IT BACK. If I hadn't been trying to sell that thing for months I probably would have :c

I still felt bad though so I sent them some wiz tokens XD I'm pathetic.

When I see that something's badly underpriced and it looks like an accident, I buy it, then send it back to the person with a note. This is why I will never be rich.

Yeah. It's great if someone can and is willing to sell it back, but...if you misprice it's on you. Just gotta be careful. It's not the buyer's fault.

I think my main pet peeve is when something goes wrong and people act like nobody's got a right to complain about it. If you're upset about losing items, pets, gold, whatever...you can't say a word without people jumping in to say they're tired of people complaining or to talk about how hard the admins are working. Like you've insulted them by being pissed.

It's always bugged me when people act like that, but this week in particular. On one game I play they lost a month's worth of shit and they aren't even replacing it all because some things "are easily replaced by yourself". Never mind the hours it takes to get these pets hatched. People taking the "I'm tired of hearing you all complain. Shit happens. At least they're working on it. THANK U ADMINS ^_^." road just made me wanna strangle a kitten. Almost all of my stuff is gone. I don't wanna hear that shit. /rage
