But I'm so lazy >.<
I'm making a dress for San Diego Comic Con and I'm running out of time...
Haha, I know the feeling. I have a month left to make three renaissance festival costumes PLUS something show-offy to display at the little talent exhibition my college puts on for the theatre students.
So far I've made a shirt and a cloak :'D

Good luck! Hopefully we both finish in time ;-;
What college do you go to?
I'll be going to the University of Central Missouri in August. Nowhere super cool, but it's close to home and has a pretty good theatre department :)
I'm such a procrastinator. I'll probably wait until the last week and go into super-sewing mode xD

Awesome. What major are you? Costume design?
I went to FIDM in LA and I majored in fashion design.
Yeah, I procrastinate too much >.>
Theatre Tech. It includes everything from directing to construction to costume/ makeup design. I'll get to do a bit of everything, but costumery is my passion c:
That's cool! People kept telling me that I should go into fashion design instead of theatre, but I always figured it was more demanding and they're so different anyway. I like my impractical and historical clothing :P

Cool! I love theater and costume design. That's what I wanted to do first, but I found a love of fashion while at school >.<
I am such a history nerd. History has always been my favorite class <3
I like ancient history c: I just think it's cool to learn how everything got started, y'know?
So what are you going to Comic Con as?
[size=9px]
Yeah, I like learning how people acted and lived back then. Historical fiction is one of my favorite book genres.
I'm designing an original dress. It has military styling and epaulettes. I'm just trying to stay busy while searching for a job.
Ooh, that's cool! I've never been to a convention, but I always thought it would be neat to go.

Ugh, I know how you feel. There's a comic con around here in...August? October? I dunno. ^^;; But I want to make a Penelope Garcia cosplay for it and to wear on Halloween. I'm trying to force get the rest of my friends to go as the rest of the team, but they're being stupid not really into dressing up. The thing is, I have quite a few dresses and skirts I could wear that look like things she'd wear, but I have my heart set on that one outfit she wore that had all the London bits and pieces in it. I waaaants it. But I'm lazy and broke, so unless I thrift-store-it-up, it ain't happening.
I'm lazy when it comes to making things too. I have a dress like halfway made from last year that I was going to wear for Halloween, and then I just lost all motivation and I still haven't gone back to it. Maybe I'll finish it and wear it for this Halloween, which is coming up surprisingly quickly. haha
Good luck finishing your dress though~
