Lion King fanpet help

I need help with my pet Zarabbii who I've named after the powerful queen in the Lion King Sarabi. I was wondering if anyone knew any colors that would fit? I already have my story idea. Treasure and minion ideas would be appreciated. I'm thinking of a lion like minion. Not sure. HELP! Thanks. I'm doing a spin off of the original lion king but all credit will go to the original.
For color I would look at Cream, Field or Gold
For treasure I would look for mother and baby/child items like (some of these, like the pram, flowers, cupcakes and pacifier come in many colours):

can I ask what inspired the mother/ baby theme? And why a baby reindeer for a minion? I choose her name because I like her strength and attitude in the Lion King. The nurturing aspect is nice but I feel like I would be doing a mothers day theme and it would have no resemblence to the Lion King overall....
LOL because its easier to portray motherhood than strength and calmness. Her main "personality" is motherhood, her strength and courage come from that source, developed to protect her cubs. The only other thing that came to mind was the , and while it may bring to mind the scene where she courageously walks through the hyena pack, I didn't think it would be an item she would treasure.
As for the minion, as a neela, I thought it matched well, unless you plan to change the species.

Ah I never thought of it that way.... She is a mother yes but I didn't think of that as a personality, just a character. I don't plan on changing my species considering you can't just adopt a Neela, you gotta pay for it. ... sigh I'm so confused I really didn't think this out when creating her. I just loved that name.
Maybe if you finish up her story/background first, some things will naturally fall into place and that will give you a better idea of what she is like, the items she would treasure and the type of minion she would keep.
The other area I considered was more nature themed items, but that felt too generic and didn't really show strength either.

Yeah that is a good idea. I will do that first and then see what happens. I was trying to go about it the way I am going about with Amazon Pepper... obviously not working
I personally wouldn't go for many motherhood items either. Especially if it's meant to be a fan pet/related to Sarabi as a character, I think that a lot of the items listed are too human-specific.
The animals listed are all African animals in addition to the lion minions and items that look like lions. The skulls are re: the elephant graveyard as well as representing the land when Scar is king and Sarabi is still there? I understand that some of the skulls are bulls/horses that wouldn't be in Africa but they were closest to the elephant skull. The wild body paint is for Rafiki.
A lot of the obscure wildlife plush are also African animals, but they have clothes and glasses on so I don't know if you'd be interested in them at all.
As for pet species suggestions, a Tigrean would obviously be closest to a lioness? An Archan would obviously also be good, but they have manes...
You my good dear are a genuis and have embodied what I want to do overall. I like the idea of having a "baby" minion per say but that's as far as the mother/son thing goes for me. I love the overall representation idea. I could probably go with the whole wild Africa theme and get a lot out of it. You just got me excited about my idea again. I plan on crediting you in the overall picture for helping me get back on track
haha sorry if it pinged you way too many times. I was editing the post a lot while I was looking for things. I've liked The Lion King for a while now and am pretty familiar with the movies as well as what items are on Subeta.
You don't have to credit me or anything. I do think it would be a cool idea to do a post-Mufasa's death Sarabi though. Like African wasteland but she's still head held high etc. and any mother/son thing could play off the fact that she thinks Simba is dead(?) idk if you want to be that dark but..
if I think of any more items I'll let you know!! I was looking for a Zazu-like bird or Rafiki-like minion but I couldn't find either. hmph
It's fine. I didn't get pinged to much but I love your dedication to The Lion King as well. I really do want to focus on Sarabi herself which my favorite scene of her is the post Scar takeover. But I plan on putting a spin on the whole thing so I don' have to change my Neela species. I am all about dark so that's a fantastic idea and not to bad at all because that's when she really shows her strength.
