Omg. :x I've only been working with bake clay for about a week, so this was a huge trial and error session. Er, and I have no prior training for working with clay at all. Lol.

Making the actual figure went pretty well. (Although it is sloppy, I won't deny that). But, I didn't give it as good a support system as I should have. I was stubborn and didn't shove toothpickies in its stomach, until it was in the oven and it started to fall over. Taking it out of the oven made things crack a lot (will not be doing that again). D: Then his tail broke off. ;-;

So, I fixed everything I could, (cept the slumping over, that, was unfixable ;-;) and here are the pictures of mah Reborn Kumos. Maybeh next time I'll just make a chibi form. Less room for angst I think.

Oh yeah, haven't glazed it yet. So, if somehow, it looks FANTASTIC after glazing, I'll post a few more pictures. Lol.

And, I'm afraid to pull the toothpicks out. Sorry they are there. :x

Images kinda large. Beware!

Picture Set Two (with mah hand for size comparison)

Oops, I just realized this is in the wrong section. D: If someone would lock or, move this thread, that would be fantastic. @

That's pretty good for a first try IMO! Perhaps next time you could try make some of the edges a bit more chiseled/angled rather than rounded ;)

I really like on the tail the smooth transition between colors. Clay is hard to work with XD And I think you did a good job for your first time!

I have been working with clay for a few years now, and what I can do is nothing near this! Excellent work, my dear! =D
