Squid ink bread; This can be filled with anything if it's a roll. It can be topped with anything. Etc, etc. It's just basically bread dyed black using squid ink (which is supposed to be slightly salty). It is also used to naturally dye various food items including ice cream, cakes, pasta, frosting, etc.

Bread of the Dead; Seriously, why don't we have this already ?

Skull bread; Which can also have other shapes inside of the bread.

And lets not forget that bread can be shaped. Skulls Spiders I am cutting it there because I am leaving in a few minutes.

I've been wanting to make it for a loooong while now, but every year I get too darn busy. :(

I personally don't think it would be too boring. Traditionally the X shape is supposed to look like crossbones, and you can use any colored sugar if desired. But then I am also biased because I want this. But if it is too boring, you can always do a line of shaped breads like "Bread of the Dead: Traditional; Bread of the Dead: Skull; Bread of the Dead: Spider; Bread of the Dead: Ghost; Bread of the Dead: Pumpkin" Or you can do little things on top of the bread. Some of them have a simple ball shape in the center of the crossbones, but you can do different things. Some people even do shapes on the top of the bread with colored dough. The glory of this bread is that it's not "this is how it needs to look" but more "this is the recipe, have fun shaping and designing."

That sliced skill bread is probably, hands down, one of the coolest types of bread I have ever seen 8|

Its easyyyyy and if you make the bread one day, you can stick it in the fridge for a couple of days to slow ferment then just pop them out whenever you're not busy for a couple hours.
