Oh god it's been ages since I posted in the pets forum. AGES. Procrastinators should get butt kicked more often.

Okay, so I have this pet, Pyrit. His profile isn't filled in yet, but basically, he is "past" spirit, meaning he stands for things that no longer exist, sunken civilisations, ideas, people and creatures. He's part of a world that is very futuristic/modern/devoid of greens and very technical, emotionless. For those who have read "Brave new World", you know what I am trying to say.

Now, I am trying to fill his treasure chest, and I want it to be small and precise, eight items, because I believe that treasure chest with few items force you to crop down your ideas to the essence of... stuff.

This is where I need help. I'm looking for suggestions on items representing the following things:

Technology/modern times Time (clocks, hourglasses, other suggestions?) Greens/Trees/Growth (Like the moss, for example) Jewelry, gold, green beads and pearls Past/Memories (Like the faded yearbook for example) Other suggestions?

The trick is, I'm trying to keep the colors matching with the profile, so I'd favor items that have a similar color scheme.

Firstly, thank you for pointing that issue out! After some fiddling around, I found where the problem came from and (hopefully) it's fixed now. Please tell me if it's still off? Second, thank you very much for the suggestions! There are some really neat items I wasn't even aware existed in there, definitely helpful!

Anyway, as for items... I didn't really suggest anything for futuristic items but I've been sitting on a few pet concepts that will require them and what I always checked first were costume trunk items, particularly Android Dystopia and Mini Arcade because they have a few kinda high tech/electronics CIs ( etc) I wanted...but there are a few more trunks that are kind similarly themed. So, have you looked into that already?

Augh, know the feeling. SInce I started gathering stuff for TCs I went from my record 50 mln to 15 in (also) record time and I'm really bad at getting more...so what now xD

As for the art, if you are referring to the main piece on the page, it was not done by me but my the amazing Blizzy, which you should definitely commission if you can because she's amazing and kind and talented and hard working and everything 8D (Flaunt flaunt) If you're referring to the art on the charahub page however, I am usually open for commission, haven't had any in ages tho so I'd need to take a look around the art market to even know how to price stuff xD I'd love to, tho!

As for items: The futuristic stuff is what is giving me the hardest of time, because they're usually blue or steel-colored and clash awfully ^^" The mini flash drive is really cool tho because the colors are JUST what I need, thanks for suggesting that! And I haven't looked into the trunks yet, will do, thanks ^^ I usually browse around subetalodge for specific words relating to what I am looking for, and try to remember in which events I can find the items (Masquerade or omen islands, for example).

Part of why I usually don't do treasure chests xD So much sP augh.

I was referring to your charahub art, but now that you mention it your friend(?) is pretty amazing as well. I just got some of my tax money back (unplanned money I can spend on rubbish, yay!) so when my exams end I'm going to whip out some lame ass refs and go art hunting. xD I'll remember you two ;)

Well, I have no idea about the rest of male items in the mini arcade trunk, they are mostly clothes but there is also I think I've been on here for too long sometimes... or at least that I remember where to find items a little bit too well sometimes xD

PS. One thing I know about things looking off on different computers is the browser thing, where Firefox in particular likes moving bgs by one very annoying px

Speaking of browsers: Nother question: Is the scrollbar covering image the same color as the rest now or is it off on your monitor? I looked off on your screenshot, so-

Well- it looks off in Opera and Dragon (so probably in Chrome as well) but okay in IE/Mozilla. My guess would be...not a very web safe color you have there. I used to have Safari as well but it's no longer there sa can't check.

Like this, then: It does look better color wise, though I like the necklaces more, as an item. Awh well, we'll see xD Whatever I can get my hands on easier. xD And you're already being incredibly helpful!

I use Safari, so obv it looks fine for me, but okay, thanks. Maybe I'll tweak that again but if it works on the three most used browsers, I might get lazy. Chrome sorta bothers me. But yeah, web safe. I hoped saving them all in the same format and on the same image host would minimize the damage, apparently it's not quite enough. I have a liking for dulled, desaturated colors and mixtures of tones that definitely does not make it easier xD Guess web designer isn't my predestined job branch.

Well, just an idea, but if you put the main background in div made specifically for it instead of in body there is a chance it would match in every browser. Can't be sure though.
