Like seriously rarity doesn't even matter anymore. I see r99 plushies being sold for 50k. while I see r90s sell for 4-5m

I agree . On one hand, its great that the Mystery Box is now cycling through different shops, however on the other, it's makes Restockers like our selves "out of pocket". When SBQ changed, many people lost their main income. I guess we are just going to have to live with it and restock more. :)

For what it is worth, I attempted for over 2 hours to try to get a key stone mold and wasn't successful. High rarity items seem to be extremely rare actually.

So the Mystery Box should just give out crap, and thus become a useless feature (aside from occasional use for things like Drills Quest)?

The whole point of it, even in the old incarnation, was that you got a rare chance at something good. The mold deflated a bit, but it's nothing that can't be fairly quickly recovered. Remember too that way more people than usual were using the box due to the anniversary event.

Honestly, my worry now for the box is more the shops that don't have anything good to get. I think mixing in some old Holiday Shop items (even if just for certain shops) might be a nice compromise and keep the original use of the box going.

So the mystery box has a small chance(when randomly selecting a shop out of many) of giving out items that are worth something? So what? The mystery box is not allowed to be a useful sp sink?

This is just like the reading drive, where a small amount of users got upset that other users were(god forbid) enjoying the event by vending books they never thought they would be able to read to their pets or afford. I think that many lost out here because of a tiny few.

Anti-casual ideas should be rejected; and the mystery box not having a small chance to spawn a super rare item in an sp sink should be even more so rejected.. Yes, people who spend more time on the site should earn more. At the same time, everyone should be able to afford what they can work for. So when Subeta adds tons of new sources of sp through games which allows for people with lots of time in the day to earn a lot of sp; I question whether people who play more often are truly losing out.

I say this as a person who has restocked a key mold in the Sable Smithy. Restocking is great; especially if you have a fast connection/great computer. There's an event for you going on right now! Its one where I refresh and find an item that I want; but I have to wait 12 seconds for the verification code to load and surprise... I lose out because of all of the lag I'm drowning in. I use my personal despair as an anecdotal example(one that I did not have a year ago) to highlight the correlation between restocking and effort may not at all account for all restocks.

I've also restocked a mold at the Sable Smithy. I have no problem with there being a low chance to get high rarity items through the Mystery Box or by means other than directly restocking from shops.

Yup, it did have a chance of having a mold. A smaller chance than there is of it restocking in the real shop, with the added benefit of way more sP going into the mystery box than does the shop itself.

It's such a small chance that it'd be extremely rare for someone to get it, so it'll still be worth a lot. There was no need to freak out about it.

It's quite a brilliant sP sink actually, it works rather like a real life lottery. There's such a small chance of winning the jackpot, but people will keep spending their money on tickets just because that chance exists. And yet nothing will get devalued because that chance is minuscule.

Subeta just cant seem to get a break . This shop rotation is a good thing for the mystery box as opposed to it being at the holiday shop permanently . So for one day the MB had a chance for giving out a key mold . So what ? Its far better the buying inflated wrapping paper .

Would you rather it just sit there useless and giving out overpriced wrapping paper? At least it has a function now. A great one.

The Mystery Box doesn't select a shop every time you click the button, I think it just picks a different shop for the day.

Whoops, that's what I meant to say. It picks a random shop each day(I originally thought it was every couple of days).
