Just a thought - I'd love to be able to get building supplies together, choose a style of house I'd like, buy a plot of land and build the house from the ground up and then fill it with all sorts of the furniture that Subeta has on site. It'd be more than one big room. You'd have a choice of one room up to X amount (I dunno what would be a fair cap), and you'd pay accordingly for the amount of rooms when buying your plot of land. It'd have an upstairs and downstairs, too, if you so chose, once again, costing more per room if you did decide to have an upstairs.
There'd be different designs of houses with different kinds of exterior designs (brick, wood, brick and wood, stucco, etc, etc).
On the inside you can either paint or wallpaper, etc (I'm not so up-to-date on wall coverings lol!) your walls, carpet, tile, hardwood, laminate, etc, your floors and fill your house with furniture, accessories artwork, etc, etc!
The house would be interactive, too, by which I mean you can view it from the exterior and then click the front door to go in and explore the house and the different room(s)/floors.
You and your pets can be placed inside, too.
There could also be the opiton of creating gardens for the front of your house, too :D
I know a lot of pet sites (not just Neo) have homes for you and your pets and I thought it'd be fun to have them here, as well! It'd be nice cuz then that way more new furniture could come out along with the old and there'd be an actual USE for all the furniture on Subeta instead of it just going to quests, TCs and galleries :)
Sorry for the super long post! :P

This had been suggested, and turned down a lot. And Keith recently said that he's definitely not going to do this.
That's really too bad :/

I think Subeta-homes have been suggested before, and while it could turn out to be a cool site feature, there are other things that need work before even thinking about implementing such a huge, work-intensive thing.
I love building homes and decorating them too, but thats why I play the Sims. ;)
I love how much effort went into this suggestion, it's well thought out, but in my opinion not very feasible.
Each item that already exists would have to be drawn a new counterpart to fit in the house. The bases of the house (frame, door etc.) would need to be drawn, models of HAs and pets would have to be drawn and considering the variation in pet colors and HA clothing, I really think the artists would revolt or something.
Oh it's been a while since we've had this topic come up.
I'm not for this.
