Hi to everyone who looks at this :)!! So I have been thinking about opening an art shop here on Subeta since I just love seeing the various outfits people put together :)! I am at loss of how to price my art though...so that's why I need everyone's help.
I was wondering, since I hardly ever do color, how much my linearts would run for; they are definitely one of my stronger abilities.
Anyhow, I hope you guys can help me! The sample will be posted below :)! Thanks again for looking!

Going by the 3 mil = 1 USD system, I would say for that style, fullbody, just lineart... 8-12 dollars? I was originally thinking 10-15.
But for 8-12 would be 24-36 mil
Ah Ok!! :D Thanks!!! I'm hoping to get more opinions on this, but yours was definitely helpful!!! Haha I didn't know something like this would go for that much ><!
I think it would be worth it~!
If you wanted to charge for 10-15 it'd be around 30-45 mil tho owo;;;
edit~: You know! You should just host an auction C: That would be helpful.
Aww thanks! Well, I know that 10-15 isnt affordable for everyone....:( So I'd have to think it over a bit. Haha! But I mean if there are people who would pay that much, then by all means please do! hahaha!!! That's quite a big sum of moneys haha!
Edit: D:!! Auction?? How does that work? People bid to have a slot for you to do art for them?
---- I have to leave to go to the pet shop with my dad, but I will be back soon! Haha Thanks for everything
True true~ but that doesn't mean you should work for nothing! Even though lineart doesn't take to much time.. still~
I would my self for my own art, would probably charge 8-15$ for a fullbody lineart. Depening on the character~ the more detailed and such would add to the price of course~. 8 dollars being really simple character design and 15 being extremely extravagant!
Edit: Yes; kind of! The best way I can tell you about it to say check out some others! I currently have one up: here
The sub forum is in Art Market > Art Auctions.
Basically you offer some slots, like for example me, I have three. You set a date, and on the last day the highest bidder get the slot! And you commission them and so forth~. It's a lot of fun and easy way to boost your confidence and to set some prices for yourself!
I would look at the rules for the Art Market as well, because if you mess something up like, not including a exact date for the end of the auction, you might have some users or admins after you reminding you~ It's not that bad but its kind of embarrassing :c
Alright then, have fun~! I'll hopefully talk to you later c:
Oh my goodness!!! Your art is gorgeous!! I'm so envious because I can not do digital art to save my life....:(!! I always stick to paper/pencil/pens/ markers (if I need to color)
Gosh!! Your Chibis are especially cute haha!!! Thanks for all the great tips! :D
Ah thank you ; w ; I'm sure your art is really great too, just from what I see. I'd love to see more~!
Haha, I haven't done anything traditional in years besides sketch, I wish I did though~. I really want to get into it.
Thanks > v < Your welcome! Good luck with your art shop and or auction~!
Oh! And a few more things.
Create a personal ping group. What I like to do is add to my first post of my art shop thread is say hey this my art ping add it if your interested!
And if I have a particular customer I like when I'm finished with their commission I remind them if they haven't joined. Especially if they are happy with what you've made for them. I also invite people who post on my art freebie threads and those who bid to my ping group from my ping group page.
There's nothing wrong with a little self advertisement! It's a good thing. Your INVITING them into your realm of art, and inviting them to be a part of what you do~! c:
Also! You can ping the public group artsale for your art threads when your selling stuff.
I also have a art-price thread going on. Would you mind throwing in some opinions on there as well~? x
