I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out what to write for a fan pet.
Like I don't want it to be like a boring wiki like bio, I don't want to make shit up and I'm not going to do a fangirl rant.
My question is how do you go about writing a story for a fanpet for a real person, not fictional character?
I wrote for a fictional character, but... I wrote about their life/the really important bit of their life from their point of view. If that makes any sense? I was trying to avoid "fanfiction" but I didn't want a wiki, so I had them... tell me... the bio? Yeah. :'D That's how I went about it. I don't know if that's really helpful or not. It would probably be really hard to do for a real person, especially if they are still alive. Edit: Unless you don't care writing for someone else. In which case it might be easier for you. :'D
That's a good idea, I'll keep that in mind for one of my other fan pets that I haven't started yet. But yeah he's still alive, so it is a bit harder to work with.
Agh. That does make it harder. :'D Well, hopefully someone can give you an idea you can work with for him. Good luck!
- Eventually I am writing a linked story for Janis, Roger, Jerry and Grace, linking them as if it's a day at Woodstock or another festival, where I write about how that day goes, how they are feeling, and somehow link them to each other. Try that, a day in their life, perhaps ? Half of mine are dead, though, and half are alive, so I'm going to take liberties with the story... :D
collecting That's an interesting idea^^
Well, I have two fanpets based off of characters which have history/info (a pokemon, and then a cartoon character with an interesting background). I also have a fanpet based off a character from a novel. I was at a loss of what to write for the longest time, but finally decided to write a synopsis of the character and his role in the story. I've found that one depends if you can't do an "informational" bio.
