Anyways yeah, is there a reason why we haven't been able to give kisses yet? :o Is it not coming back this year or are we just going to be given less time? I'm just asking because I still have an achievement to finish for this and I'm sure others do too and it just seems weird that the survival has started and we don't have the ability to kiss other users from the event forum yet, usually that and candy hearts always started shortly after the event started. :o

Yeah I have that achievement to finish too. Every time I look at it I start to itch a little. o_o

yeah, either they are putting us on hold like the trees for xmas or .. i don't know. find it weird since the achieves are not retire/legacy...

I really hope it comes back soon. Luckily for me, I ran a contest last year, so I'm done with getting kissed, but I still need to give out about 100 more. Being that close is taunting me.

If they are retiring them though, it'd be nice if the achievements page changed to reflect that.

Idk what the tiers are, I know I have all of them for getting kissed and I've given a little over 200 so far. I know I need at about 50 more til next achievement. c: I just want to get started.

As far as I know, the giving tier stops at 1,000. I think I remember them being even at the end of the event last year.

Oh I hope they do open that option, it is always such fun and really gives the antisocial ones a reason to socialize....not that I would know what that is like :P

At the very least, I would like them to tell us if we're waiting for something that's not going to happen. It's not too big of deal for me though, since I'm finished with them personally.

That's really how I feel on this. I don't think they should retire them now after bumping the tiers so high last year, but if they do, I would really appreciate some kind of notice letting us know. Even if it's going to be part of the plot somehow, I don't see any reason they can't turn kissing back on ahead of time. What could it hurt to let us do what we have every year?

I also miss the kissing. It was fun, and I thought it was a great way to make new friends and foster community in the forums, helping each other out and all. However, I reckon there's a reason...and hopefully, now that the candy heart feature has returned, it is just a matter of time! :D

I'd like to think they've tweaked the kissing system or have something new prepared for us that will work into the plot somehow. Of course I have no idea, but people have been complaining about this since the event started so I'm sure they've noticed and have a reason for not putting it back up.

Wild speculation: Fantine's disease started with what looked like a kiss, and it's a new strain that has even Skitters worried. What if Louis L'amore's cure doesn't work on the Baker's Kiss, and the cure turns out to be something kiss related? That would certainly be a good reason for not releasing kissing just yet.

I don't miss the kissing. But if it's not here yet, I assume it's because the plot doesn't involve it yet. Last year and the year before, and even the biting, were tied into the plot.

There's no need to be kissing or interacting in this year's plot. At least, not yet.

I hope we're still going to have the kissing. I need to get those last few achievements.

We wanted to wait until people had gotten through all of the stages this year before we released kissing. There was a lot of confusion last year with the kissing hexes (you get them when someone has kissed you) and the strains of the diseases.

Only now I see it happening with the Baker's Kiss disease. :p Perhaps we shouldn't have asked for it back just yet. But either way, I'm glad I can finally knock out that last tier.
