I just won an auction, but the thing is, I feel like it was kind of sketchy. Basically what I think someone did is bump the bid up to the highest amount I was willing to pay. I'm not sure what to do. I thought it was against Ebay's rules to do that. I just called them and they said I could talk with the seller to cancel the transaction :/ I dunno. The thing is, the game is still cheaper by a few bucks than the other ones I saw...
Yeah that happens... if ebay aren't willing to do anything about it, then there's not much you can do. The seller isn't going to own up to shill bidding, and it can't be proven unless ebay examine IP addresses etc. Even still, it's hard to prove, as long as it's a bid from someone else's account.

It sucks when things like that happen. I say just ask yourself if it's still a price you'd pay for the game, then get it. You can always leave the seller feedback!
Yeah...it's pretty dumb. I did look through some of their sales and I didn't see any signs of it anywhere else, so maybe I'm just overreacting and someone else really wanted it. I just think it's weird they stopped at twenty-nine bucks when my highest bid was thirty :/
It's still cheaper than most of the other listings. I think I'm going to just buy it anyway since I already won it.
Idk, maybe 30 bucks was what they were gonna pay for it also? Anyway, since it's still cheaper than the others, no harm done, right? :3
That would be weird to do that since it tells you how much the highest bidder is willing to bid on it, but I guess someone could have just overlooked it. I am pretty excited to get this game; it's Skies of Arcadia if anyone's ever heard of it.
UGH UGH UGHUGHUGH
Now I'm returning the Dreamcast. It came today and when I got it, someone cut holes in the back and I guess had modded it and now its got some weird iplug in it AND there is no AC cord. WTF. They didn't mention any of this in their listing (they even said it had 'all the hookups'). And it's dirty as hell.
