I simply could not keep quiet any longer. The thing, to me, that most makes Subeta stand out from other petsites is the artwork. And it's not like we have one good staff artist who does the important work and several others to take care of the more menial items and such - oh no. Every piece of artwork that comes out of this site is better than the last.

I mean, items that don't even need to be well-drawn because they're utilities are beautiful. Example: Now, would anyone complain if those weren't well-drawn? No, because they don't need to be pretty to be useful. And yet, that is a gorgeous piece of art.

Occasionally, if I get bored on sub, I just look through subetahq and appreciate some of the artwork. just called me a "HUGE fangirl" for this, but I don't care - it's true. Subeta artists, I am your fangirl, and I am unashamed.

I said all that to say this: thank you, artists, for all your hard work and willingness to better the site. It shows and we appreciate it. ❤ [edit] The zombie skin this year is particularly lovely.

Those gems are unabashedly pretty :) I completely agree. Even if I don't like a particular clothing style that is released, I can see the detail and attention but into it!

Admittedly, some of the older artwork isn't all that astounding in its quality, but then again, that's the old art. And even then, some of it's good for the lulz factor of its outdatedness. When those older items do get an update, though, it's usually amazing. (My favorite example is the Kumos Tails that were released not all that long ago. The shading on those is fantastic!) The quality of the artwork here is especially evident in the new pets and items that are released. The attention to detail and shading show that the artists care a lot about their work, which is one of the reasons why I love hanging out here. The artists actually care what they put out there for all to see.

Even with all the new art that is constantly being produced, the artists are on a neverending quest to better the old items. Even though some art is outdated, I feel quite sure it won't be so for long. :) Seems like every time I check the news, there is a revamp.

I have to say that a lot of my favorite artwork comes in the form of food, oh man. ;o; I know I say you are a fangirl for this. But holy shit.

I seriously just want to reach through my screen and devour it all. Right. Now. The ingredient items too are absolutely stunning. Attention to detail is just... hnnngh. The deli ham, raspberries, spinach, radish, onion, deli bologna... (lol, can you tell I'm going through the food market right now?)

I know what you mean. They really seem to be doing a lot of revamping these days, not that I'm complaining. While some of the older art does have its charm, the revamps are almost always breathtaking.

No but seriously I am everyday impressed with the amazing art that the creative department puts out. We've got the most talented group of people on the internets.

agreed this soo much! :D I love the art the most, that's why I joined subeta, because of the art work, wanted to see what pets they have here, and the pets are stunning@_@ items too xD

I particularly like the artwork for the Dark Matter, Glacier, and Glade pets. Very pretty artwork. As for HA clothing, Bloodred Ball Gown and Blooming box of Lingerie are my favorites.
